Well my brother has a KE38 wagon which is the same to KE30/55. it all ready has coil overs in the front but he wants a Strut brace as well i was wondering if AE86/KE70 ones fit. i have a KE70 and i will measure the distance between the bolt holes compared to the wagon tomorrow but i was wondering if anyone has ever put a strut brace on a KE30/55 before. These SU's that you have posted a pic up of are my brothers. He bought the linkage kit from Red line in Sydney which use to be Lynx. He only bought the kit earlier this year but he did have to modify it abit due to the parts that hold the shaft flex. the kit only cost him about $115 and is alot simpler than making your own. one thing you do have to do is make somthing to hold the acelerator cable on to the top shaft and make sure every thing is in align to make them work smoothly as well. can you also see the pic of my brothers is different to yours where the fuel bowls are on the out side and are a matched pair of carbys and yours are two single carby's on a twin mainifold hope this is some help. when i bought my sigma wheels for my KE70 the inner hub diametre for these wheels where 80mm i think. So my dad machined up 4 rings for the centre of these wheels to fit the corolla hub, down to 60mm that where 19mm thick so that they fitted into the centre of the wheel and held them centre on to the hub but did not stick out past the back face of the wheel. So when i bolted the wheel onto the rotor/drum the wheels where still touching the rotor and this little ring was not acting like a wheel spacer. heres a pick of my wheels you may see the aluminum ring in the centre

The other week my brother (Smithius) bought a KE38 wagon off of here (haydo's old one) and we were having a look at the brakes and the struts as well. The top of the struts have been replaced with coilovers and larger 245mm brakes over the standard 218mm brakes off of a KE30/55 so 13" wheels don't fit and the car now has 14" skyline stockies. These brakes are vented compared to the solid corolla ones. also the front has seemed to gain more track for some reason as well. i possibly think that these are RA40 celica struts and brakes but i am unsure of this? The main reason that we want to know is that the pads and rotors are f#*ked and are beyond machining so they need replacing even tho driving the car yesterday i steped on the pedal and they locked up no problems. here are some photos of the brakes for some more information. any help would be aprecitated.. use autosol metal polish and some fine steel wool. the home brand soap pads work really well then finish it off with autosol brite shine for the bling efect :lolcry: .

i was at west lakes with two of my mates in the red rx7 and the R32 and all of a sudden all these ke's rocked up!! couldn't believe it LOL. yeah there were 9 of us it was a good night to be out except for all the cops

got one mabe two out of me i got my mate with his black beetle coming as well thats if he driving as well tonight

i would have one of these a Mazda FD3S RX7 with a 20B PP in white with carbon bonnet, Mazda speed suspension and brakes and i nice big set of volk TE37's to go with it.

where does it start on the friday and what time is it????? i couldnt find any info on it at all on the rolla club forum or the toyo show site.

hahaha this actualy works i read this post then a couple of days later my mates VH commodore had a starter problem as well i bashed tha starter with a hammer a couple of times, clicked it over and it started. only problem you have to bash it each time you want to start it and you can hear the gears from the starter hitting the fly wheel occasionaly as you drive.

can you tell me what pulley's are used on the supercharger and on the motor to run a reasonalbe amount of boost. Cheers David
