Well after a bit of research, i found out that this car made its bathurst debut in 1979, in the up to 1600cc class. No not the K engine, it was a T series engine. It only got thru 41 laps before the oil pump drive broke. For the record it was car number 77.
The car was back at Bathurst in 1980. This time as number 62. It suffered a broken fan belt, but still managed to finish 6th in class, and 28th outright, and covered 127 laps.
It qualified 47th for the 81 race, in a time of 2.43.1. Or about 37 seconds slower then toadys V8supercars!
