  1. Do you mean the degrees before top dead centre?
  2. No not really. There are ke30 tacho dashes out there, but VERY rare in oz. Aussie ke30 didn't came with tachos standard. I know a lot of people have put a small one in where the clock goes...
  3. Some of sydneys big free ways have tolls, others don't. The M7 requires an e-tag, but if you go thru without, they'll send you bill in a couple weeks. About 16-20 bucks when they send it. Most others you can pay with cash. Can't remember how much others were...
  4. Why not! Its a road trip, and well... its what people do on road trips, take photos of themselves in front of big things... isn't it?...
  5. You gotta go and do 'Big' things! Coffs has the big banana, between sydney and melbourne is a place called Goulburn, and they have the big sheep! I'm sure there are others...thats a big trip!
  6. Bob, Kevin, Fred......Tom....Harold.... Or maybe Sharon, Mary,......um does that help?
  7. $1.69.9 a litre Does that answer your question? ;) As said, carby kit, and make sure your is in a good state of tune. ie timing, plugs, points etc...
  8. On my 3k ke30, it goes from the back of the head, onto a plug in the firewall, and to the heater. Then theres a return line back out the firewall, and to the water pump... don't know if that helps..
  9. sounds like the heater hose...
  10. Theres a switch at the shift lever. Take the console out, and at the base of the lever ther will be two switches, one for the starter lock out, and the other will be the reverse light switch. Have a play with it untill it turns on at the right time. ie, mite have to move it forword or back.
  11. Well my 3k came from the factory painted RED man!!!! Factory go fast part!!!
  12. I've been trying to price a set of wheel cylinders for a ke55, with prices ranging from $30 a set to $79 a set! But today the Autobarn guy told me that there are two different size wheel cylinders available for a 55. One 19 mm and the other 20mm. Is this true,? Would it matter which one i put in? And if there is only one size, does anyone know a part number for them? Cheers
  13. Get the earlier one, for the right model. ke55 had differet wire colours and slightly different electrics. Re your problem, change all the dead bulbs, and check your earths in the boot, I had a similar prob in my 30...
  14. that would be the easiest way to do it i think, unless your good with a solering iron and wireing diagram :P
  15. PCV and a charcoal canaster, are the main things you need.
  16. Well the beam shape and throw is not much better then standard, but you do get the choice of globes. Maybe it was just a shit brand that i got, (ebay too!) Anything with a good brand, i would reconmend, my Narva ones are the best 100 bucks i ever spent....maybe...
  17. I bought some of those crystal type head lights, and found them to be SHIT! The beam was awful, very similar to the old sealed beam. So i put the Narva halogen kit back in. Still takes the H4 globe, but i get a MUCH better beam, just like you would in a new car. Make sure you get a good one is all I'm saying.
  18. Solar care and Armor all. And LOTS of it!
  19. there was a ke20 tacho dash on ebay about a week or two ago, went for 170 bucks i think..
  20. Theres a comp plate and an ID plate. The comp plate says that it was manufactured by AMI to comlpy with the ADRs. Maybe the 'made in japan' refers to the actual plate, as most if not all of them say that...
  21. just go for it. Should be the same. If not, hack it up!
  22. When was the build date? It may be one of those weird cases where it was built right on the model change from late 35 to 55. So it says KE55 on the plate, but got the last of the 35 bits and pieces. Thats my guess..
