  1. Welcome champ! I'll keep an eye out for that lovely wagz! I'll be in a blue ke30! Most of the Canberra guys meet thru the Canberra toyota club, although even thats been pretty quiet lately... I think I'm the only one who frequents this site!
  2. Apparantly carbie or brake cleaner works. You got to let it soak in, then scrub off. Haven't tried it myself, so can't ganantee it. Give it crack....
  3. Hey man, nice buy! I was watching this also! It'll be good to this beauty running aroung Canberra!
  4. Right on! I can't stand the whole 'ay', 'da', and 'lol', that so many people put in their posts. ENOUGH
  5. For some odd reason, i think Australia were the only market to get this feature....Go figure
  6. 0.8mm
  7. What you've got there is a 3k carby, and 4k book/photos. Early 3ks didn't have all the extra emissions stuff on them, and are far simpler. 4ks had more stuff on them eg hoses, thermostatic valves and throttle positioners.

Its gotta be a short somewhere on the demister/ reverse side of things, because if the feuel or temp shorted, they would read full hot or full Full. Check wires to/from fuse box. From memory its a 15 amper?
  9. Red hot rumor going around, is that its former V8 driver John Bowe. I don't see it myself, but there you go....
  10. I really enjoyed it! It was a bit rough round the edges, but once they get into their grove, it'll be great!
  11. That will be a trimatic, and yes something will need to be changed, ie mounts etc
  12. It does, the auto has a stack more hoses and stuff like valves and vacume switches. Grab a manual and go to the emession section, theres a diagram in there.
  13. Try Ebay Google Rollaclub for sale section...Also wanted to buy...
  14. Who says they're trying to compete or better the BBC version? I think it will be a ripper show in its own right. I have my DVD recorder warmed up and waiting!
  15. ive seen an orange 20, and yes very factory...
  16. Not too many getting round in 'Moody Blue',,, cept mine!
  17. I swapped a ND for a bocsh in my 3k. Yep one bolt holding it in. Make sure that you put the new one in same way you took the old one out. i.e not 180 degrees out. If you make sur the engine is at no 1 tdc bfore you take it out, and the new dizzy is at the same, you shouldn't have any dramas.
  18. Not sure of the code, but I'm pretty sure all autos had the 4.3 diff, and all manuals had the 4.1 except wagon.
  19. The trans code for early ke30s is A20 for the toyoglide. Not sure what the trimatic code is, off the topof my head.
  20. There are two types of diff. Borg warner, and the Jap diff. Early ke30s had the jap diff, Late 30s and 55s have the Borgy. JAp diffs open from the front, and borgys open from the back. Also jap diffs have a more rounded shape, where the borgs have a more squared shape.
  21. I believe the proper way to get them out is to take both windscreens out. The lining is held in by the rubbers, front and back. Bit of a pain...
  22. welcome! for news on criuses and things, keep an eye on canberra toyota club
  23. Same goes for the gregorys manuel, but the gregorys matche's my 76 ke 30.
