Ke30 Ke55 Brake Upgrade Guides
SeptemberSquall replied to Falken_KE30's topic in KExx Corolla Discussion
rt132 struts with standard rt132 rotors and twin piston calipers either 1: swap the spring seats to ke30 ones OR 2: wind a custom conical spring to suit RT132 lower pattern and KE30 upper pattern OR 3: best to remove spring seats and replace with 65mm adjustalbe platforms struts can fit a std length koni yellow insert or use sw20 MR2 koni yellow rear shock with shortened housing if going pretty low need to run rt132 or similar steering arms (maybe #A6# celica is similar? or AE86, can use power steering arms for more degrees at the wheel for (x) degrees at the steering wheel) good for street use, this is what i currently run with the ae86 power steer arms (quite short) easily upgradable to 4 piston hilux caliper (ln106 and similar) and vented disc with little effort -

what a load of bs factory hp was 125 hp in the highest tune version *gross* generally an average one makes 55-60rwkw std in early corolla or celica rwd built one with a friend which was 3t crank, roughly 1810cc, 304/288adv @ .395, 10.5:1 and made 88rwkw with 40mm phh went to 45 dcoe and made 97rwkw now running dcoe throttle bodies and wolf engine managment still 98rwkw i'm hoping for 100-115rwkw out of mine at 1941cc anyone who reckons they are making 130kw out of the stock 1588cc is using serious forced induction or too many magic mushrooms -

+1 for hella or narva 7" h4 inserts depending on what you want i converted TA22 mounting brackets to my KE36 and run narva h4 inserts 55/60w hi lo combo on the outboard side and narva h1 100w driving lights on the inboard side it's eleventy billion times better than before, but it does not work with the ke30 grille obviously

this is not intended to be bozozuko, but it is the easiest way i could get a straight shot through the bumper bar hole in the radiator support panel without kinking the lines or using a 90deg fitting :nervous: true bozozuko styles would be a larger car like markII chaser cressida or etc and oil cooler out on the bumper as well -

that's not right ke36 = 3dr or 5dr, early style ~ different bonnet, grille, bumpers all chrome, te37 style dash, three quarter height door cards ke38 = 3dr or 5dr, late style ~ different bonnet, grille, bumpers with plastic end cap, ke55 style dash, full door cards, etc. headlights are ta22, not specific to ke36 or ke38 -
Strut/brake Upgrade For Ke25? Have Searched
SeptemberSquall replied to Tally's topic in General Mechanical
do 20/25 corollas use PBJ145 in the lower arm? If so, RT132 corona struts with the std twin piston calipers and AE86 power steer arms OR RA60 struts which are single piston calipers but vented discs RT132 struts are easily upgraded to four piston LN106 calipers and vented discs if you want more later on the other hand, for something cheep i have in my garage KE30 struts with king springs and metal king pads in the brakes, complete with KE30 steering arms and lower control arms, could use this gear to go 4x114.3 and brakes performed fine in my 5K KE36 with 32/36 carb and extractors. -
u12 pintara wheels and s13 wheels will be far too much positive offset i can't seriously believe you cannot get wheels there MA61 wheel sets show up on toymods all the time and most people will post. or for 1000 you can have your choice of konig rewind, superlite, performance challenger, konig b-bomb or others through suppliers i can put you in contact with, delivery to your door
