Haha Trev, I know the market was aimed at young chicks but I still love it as a comfortable daily.... It's going to look a lot better once i've finished with it, will just take a month or two because i'm not getting much work at the moment... Certainly won't be ready for the upcoming camping trip that's for sure..... If any one spots one of these anywhere I need a few small parts too Cheers Dougy

Found a new little beast the other day Swapped it for my replacement Lie-Ace (cost me $500 but i'm happy with the deal plus I was totally over rusty vans) It's a 2dr twincam EFI with full electrics Plans for it are: Full service (it's been sitting for a long time...) Fix the rust (small patch on the C-pillar, like a KE70...) Tidy-up the paint (roof & spoiler are peeling badly) Repair drivers seat Install a decent stereo (factory head-unit still works but the speakers are rooted) Fit some nice rims (nothing crazy just an upgrade from steelies) Here's a couple of pic's after heavy rain (it's still very dirty though)

Getting my gear together for a great weekend. I also have heaps of pine for firewood but no good stuff so if anyone can bring some hardwood we should be right.... Not sure what I will be driving yet but I will be there (I so need to get away for a weekend, far too much work lately) need a f'n break

Oh my god....I really love that combination of White with Red trim. Exactly like my old 20 although this one's an Auto. I can vouch for 20's with 5K/5spd aswell, a lot of fun to drive.... I would suggest storing the seats as they will wear no matter how careful you are (they're not very comfortable to sit in for long drives either). A straight bolt-in replacement is Autotechnica sports seats (you just need to use the original seat rails). Nice find mate. We look forward to seeing the progress pics

Due to the last trip not getting enough interested people (Many people had other events that couldn't be changed) I'm planning a new camping trip for 20th/21st November We will be camping at Cressbrook Dam (near Toowoomba) Entry to the complex is $2:50 and Camping is around $4/night There's Hot Showers, Fireplaces & a great BBQ/Dining/Kitchen facility. There's even a power-point in the Kitchen & the Toilet if we need to recharge anything (Phones, Laptops etc). Last time we had great fun and I'm sure if the weather is kind to us we will enjoy this weekend aswell. We will have a meeting point on the Northside & Southside for the start of a cruise to Cressbrook.

We need more pics of these old race/rally corolla's...... Would be great to get some more events happening while there are still some venues available... Lakeside might be worth some enquiries?

If we can't get a few more people we can make it in a month's time instead. Would suit me better anyway coz can't really afford anything at the moment (can't even pay my rego) :bash: Also might be a lot better weather by then...hopefully :(

You will enjoy the change mate Having had a few Escorts myself, I can also say that the Corolla's have stronger diffs...(I exploded 3 Escort diffs in the past, they just DIDN'T last at all :bash: )I havn't had a Corolla diff let go......YET.lol

Spotted Daniella & Terry today around 1:30pm on Boundary Rd, Coopers Plains (across from OZZY Tyres) I was driving a truck so you probably didn't notice me but your wheels grabbed my attention from a fair distance. Still looks tough as mate :cool:
