  1. That's cool mate See you on the Byron camp if not before then.....
  2. Is this still happening guys???? Maybe we can skip this and just make a good turnout for your Birthday at Byron...... :hmm: I'm keen whatever happens
  3. Nice edit there Trev...U-Turns are my latest specialty :lolcry: Was a good turnout considering the weather and 80% Corolla's, that must be a record. Maybe we can get more cruises happening in the New Year while people are turning up....:D We may even breathe a bit of life back into RC Brisbane....... :bash:
  4. Its still on so i'll see you all there P.S. I don't care if it hails because my car's already peppered....Plus I havn't been skating for quite a while...hehehe
  5. I earnt a lot of respect in a KE36 I owned recently, even from some Commodore drivers (that was very rewarding for me because anyone who knows me will recall what I think of Commodores)........
  6. Yeah mate they know that we work hard to keep them on the road instead of just scrapping it and buying a Commodore...... Every corolla i've owned has always turned heads (not many with blue hats though)...
  7. Don't blame the storm.....You just left that hose turned on didn't you Jon.... :P As for the trailer mate, sorry to hear that your old man f@#$ed it up but at least you know now that there will be plenty of coats on it.....
  8. Well maybe he was just showing us what it could do.... :D
  9. I think so mate, will confirm later this evening...
  10. ^^^^ Totally agree with you there Reed. Whatever happened to safe following distance 2 seconds........ I drive early in the mornings through to around 7am & it's incredible how many people get in their car and just put the parkers (or not even that) on before the sun is even up :bash: It's seriously not that hard to twist the switch people :wtf: & most cars have a warning buzzer so you don't leave them on......
  11. Sounds good... Attendees so far? *Me + family *Trev + family *Des (AE70) *Justin (SLW45) *Reed (Blzbub666) *
  12. Yeah a bit ironic hey...Also noticed the JDM Number Plate, naughty naughty..lol
  13. Go to Repco for your Jockey Wheel mate. They're cheaper than others and are quite often on sale too. I would also suggest spending the extra few $$$ to get the swing-away type.
  14. Ok mate, Northside it is then. What time should we leave Aspley Macca's.......
  15. I'm assuming that you're talking about Lamington (Van sites)? I'm still keen mate so count me in for a site for sure....
  16. Toolbox on drawbar would be quicker & easier, then make a strap underneath it for a spare tyre. Two coats should be ok if you're putting clear on it, the more clear the better..... I can get cheap Gas Bottle/Jerry Can holders if you need them too (fit nicely behind the mudguards) & would help counter-balance the extra weight of the toolbox.
  17. Looking good in the same colour as 'Uber' Should be quite a useful trailer with those additions you're making. I'm assuming that sunken floor is for a battery or three etc....... The decking idea will look great too
  18. I'm keen for this again, was a good night last year (the kids love it). Unfortunately I can't do the Saturday night aswell because i'm working from 12am... Maybe check out the South/West lights on the Friday night (I can see the Northside lights during the week coz they're local)......
  19. I'm still keen for this trip.....Anymore ideas for location? Lamington maybe... I told my boss i'm NOT working that weekend...
  20. Spotted in my travels on Tuesday arvo 30-11, Bamboo KE26 Wagon sitting unregistered in a yard..... Very tidy & NOT rusty (virtually a twin for my old 26 but less rust & VERY straight) Hope to be acquiring it ASAP if the person who beat me to it doesn't cough up the cash in time....... If it ends up at home with my 26 Panno I will be f'n happy (not sure the mrs will be though) oh well
  21. Thanks to all those who camped/visited over the weekend too. Was a fairly good turnout i reckon... Hopefully next time i can get there a bit earlier & maybe even cruise to the campsite with the rest of the group..... :bash:
  22. Weather wasn't too bad thanks mate. Didn't get much more than drizzle for the rest of the stay. Good to finally meet you Trev & thanks again for the help with my tent/tarp. :y: Was definately a fun night had by all & can't wait till next one. Also hope to have a better vehicle for it aswell, cancelling the need for a tent.....Memories of KE36 convenience got the better of me :hmm:
  23. :worship: I am proud to see that my old wagon went to such a great new home.... Looking fantastic. Keep the pic's rolling in coz i am enjoying seeing progress....Something i could never seem to get happening :bash:
  24. I will just meet you at Blacksoil BP (I always miss the turnoff for Goodna :bash: ) 11AM at Blacksoil OK ? I'm bringing: *Toyota *Firewood *Mozzie coils *Camp Kitchen *Eggs, Snags, Onions, Bread(in a sealed container Jon) *6' Table *20'x12' Tarp + 7 poles *4 man Tent *at least 2 chairs *last but not least BIG Esky full of ???? So i'm ready for a great weekend
