  1. Hey mate, definately can be engineered in nsw. I have a ke30 sr20det registered and engineered. As the previous post mentioned brakes and suspension were important in getting mine done. The engineer had to be satisfied that the car could handle the extra power and stop sufficiently. Fink engineering did mine in wollongong.
  2. I'm paying $690 for two cars, a ke 30 sr20 agreed value 2 5k and 1968 crown agreed value 10k. This falls under extreme limited use. There is definition with Shannon what extreme limited use is. As mentioned earlier I dare say theft risk would play a huge part.
  3. Hey mate Fink engineering in Ulladulla. Hey did my ke 30 with a sr20. Hey engineered it with my half cage also. That being said he isn't bodgey. He will test your brakes and make sure that it all complies with emissions. I had to take my engine back to standard so I didn't have to comply with emission tests. He's a good bloke and easy to deal with.
  4. Hey guys, I'm about to buy a set of reset leafs that have been stiffened. But before I do I want to confirm they will fit my KE30 as they are of a KE36 wagon. thanks in advance
  5. Thanks mate. Much appreciated.
  6. Hi All Ive got a ke30 with a sr20 in it. Initially with my S15 engine i had a rx7 master cylinder. When that engine let go and i replaced it with a S13 engine and now rhe rx7 master is hitting the intake. I can easily replace the master and ive noticed in photos that the ta22 master looks smaller. But if some could confirm the length of the master from mounting face to the end of the cylinder that would be mucb appreciated. Thanks in advance
  7. Hey mate, not sure if your in nsw, but i just got my ke30 with an sr20 engineered. Mine ended up costing 900. I had a half cage so maybe thats why it cost a little more then he quoted. I initially was made to go to emmisions because i had an after computer and failed miseribly. I change back to standard ecu with standard emmision equipment like charcoal cannister and afm. Doing this meant no emmisions required. Like you said a good muffler and the rest is pretty straight forward to get through.
  8. Cheers for the comments guys. I tried to keep it as clean as possible.
  9. Hey Guys, Thought id post some pics of my KE30, after spending way to long putting it together its 98 % done (Wheels and extra leaf to be put in) Mods: -s13 SR20DET (First engine blew a whole through a piston S15 autech 11.8:1 comp didnt like the boost) -S14 5 spd -rx7 clutch master cylinder -850cc sard injectors -kkr430 turbo -turbosmart 42mm(i think) external gate -turbosmart 2 satge boost controller -custom turbo manifold - 6 point cage -5 pint RCI harness. -Microtech lt10 with coil pack -bosch 044 pump, surge tank lift pump, malpassi fuel reg, new 3/8 lines -commodore diff with locker -commodore disks adn calipers all round - 2.5 inch exhaust Interior -Autometer dash (boost, revs, speedo, oil pressure, water temp, fuel level. -Retrimmed roof lining -Retrimmed door panels -Retrimmed dash -New Carpet -Rear Seats are standard -Front Seats are standard for now Exterior Full Respray Metallic Silver, (some honda import colour i found on a colour chart) Just looking for wheels and can't decide what grill, to put on it, Ive got every grill that every came out on ke30's at home and just don't know which one. Car will be registered as a two door as a result of the roll cage . Car got tuned on friday made 319 HP at the wheels on 16psi. Had alot more in it but i need a bigger cooler and bigger injectors as its tuned on e85. Car is going to engineered this week, so i just need to fit original seat belts and fit the air filter box. Once engineered I will fit the 1000cc injectors and larger cooler.
  10. Gday mate, first of the car looks like its coming around nicely. Secondly i am putting the convo pros on my ke30, my front rims are fine but do you have the exact size of your rear, including offset. I am about to order some from jegs.com. Thanks mate.
  11. Hey mate if you want to spend a bit more cash on a motor go for the sr20 autech. Its a na model that has the same amount of power out factory as the s15 sr20DET. Very very responsive. Thats what ive got in my ke30
  12. no chance of getting engineers in nsw only up to 1.9l like said earlier, your best bet would be a ca18det
  13. in regards to yours rust if your in sydney i know a guy who did my rust who is an old school panel beater. he is very very well priced and takes alot or pride in his workmenship. He's about 65 which is why the work he does seems to be so good, no corners cut at all.
  14. this is a situation that depends on how much you want to spend i guess. I have a sr20de+t in my corolla, commodore diff, commodore brakes all round. it really isnt that hard to make an sr20 fit if you have someone that is engineering mined and knows how to weld. the most expansive parts have been been the diff the computer and turbo. but what ever your budget was double it at least. good luck, if you do go sr20, don't hesitate to ask for help
  15. Hey guys ive got a ke30 with a sr20de+t. its got commodore discs and calipers at the front, and ive had a commodore diff shortened which means that i have discs at the back aswell. What I'm curious to know it what master cylinder will be a good upgrade because i don't think that the standard one will do. Ive heard of a pajero one fitting but I'm not sure from what model pajero it is from thanks
