yeah STOP SMOKE works wonders used it in my celica with good results that piece of crap blew smoke like it knew how to :wink: might stop by this arvo Also, STOP SMOKE may stop the smoke but won't resolve the issue. if only there was a magical product called STOP MAKE AND FIX ENGINE :hmm:

lol I have a missus happily dating for 3years next month. Speaking of which she will be accompaning me to the motorkhana with me :hmm:. I told her about the mighty starlet she laughed then I told her she may even get lucky with a drive in it(you driving of course) if she behaves :wink: and of course if its cool with you and the other half m8. P.S I am not sure if its as serious as I first thought I would think if I was "missing" a piston ring it would be a little worse driving but nothing has changed I guess I won't know for sure until it gets properly serviced friday week +compression test. (Might be getting rear disks fitted depending on how long it will take for brake lines).

Up until a while ago was only blowing a little smoke under HEAVY load just after a gear change. Now when I press the GO pedal to the floor it is now puffing out a nice pretty trail of black smoke under heavy load continually. (Black smoke usually means rich ya?). If so I am not sure why losing so much oil when it's not dropping it. P.S.S Adam you're old :P

when is motorkhana? if i can be bothered i will get a set of stockies from a mate at a tire shop that fit well enuff so i can get mor ethen 3mm of a nut on it. adam knows what I'm talking about lol. think last motorkhana adam :wink: couldnt get enuff of a wheel nut on lol

With the TAC's approval its just a large form with little bits to fill in yeah? I heard that if the engine is a direct bolt in same family of engines it doesnt need approval? Anyways typical of Govt. forms etc they look really big but have hardly anything to fill in :wink:. I should no i picked up a job in govt :y: tis excellent as far. I realise that most workshops up here are competent enough to complete a bolt in conversion just a question of how well :hmm:. If I didn't have the 82 I would snap your Celica up Adam always have had a soft spot for that shape (TA22's etc). If I get rid of the 82 anytime soon I will take it off ya hands :y: P.S LOL at halfcut prices these days I have seen a AE101 GZE halfcut anywhere from 1500 to 3500. Price still hasnt changed :P

who would you guys recomend talking to for a gze conversion into the 82. Just trying to get an idea on pricing. My plans are to depending on damage to my current engine are to whack in a gze half cut from an ae101 hopefully an E-58 LSD also **crosses fingers** as I figure this would be a better starting point for future modifications.

I am currently in the process of developing a "plan of attack" with the mighty 20V 82. Trying to decide whether to keep it (I love it so much :wink:) or sell it (I doubt it) and also whether to keep the 20V or whack in a gze and go from there. Depending on price I would probably go gze bottom end 20V head, I have a silvertop however so there wouldn't be the same sought of gains apposed to the BT 20V head. so yeah dunno atm thinking sucks

what kinda gearbox is in the mr2 the E-51? or wateva it is. I have a "gze gearbox" in my car atm supposebly but i couldn't really care if it is or not. cheers its STEPHEN :y:

Also with the silvertop VTI doesnt really give a kick there is a noticable "power increase" at about 4-5k but nothing as extreme as a turbo or FULLY HEKTIK VTEC BRO DAT PWNZ ALL TOYOTAZ. :o Toyota owns Honda any day of week :D

Hey all been awhile been slack lately. Well with my rolla /sigh it currently has no oil in it rofl. I am guessing a ring has decided to run away but atm I am not sure. At first I believed that it was running mega rich due to the quite strong smell after a little bit of "spirited driving" and sometimes on idle on a crappy day. But at my dismay after a nice wash I decided to check oil and guess what it was below the LOW line lol it bearly touched the dip stick. So depending on the damage I may get the current engine fixed cheaply, get a new Silvertop engine and possibly gearbox as mine is about to laugh its last laugh so to speak or go the 4agze :o:D:D. All depending on the extent of the damage. So yeah fun fun fun(spending money woot).
