valve didnt hit piston valve exploded and smashed piston :P

i aint playing the blame game few exhaust valves are broke, and pistons are now chipped

well something in the motor let go while on the dyno on saturday unsure of what yet will be finding out this arvo/tomorrow. anyways from boost something in motor let go, unsure at this stage as what it was, compression test reveals 0 compression in I think it was cylinder 1 and 50 in cylinder 3, 2 and 4's compression is fine, However, when cylinder is pressurised, no blow by is experience. Head is coming off this arvo to see what the go is. So yeah unsure at this stage but more then likely won't be there unfortunatly

sure its tuned for 20psi but normally driving it I hardly boost it anyways. sure it runs rich, but only when it gets onto boost etc. putting around the map on the ecu is fine whether its running 0psi or 20psi

last of the fuel pressure reg gear arrived today going back to its last trip to high tech trip for awhile next friday FPR fitting and afr's check before probably tune on 20psi :jamie:

previous owner never ran a cat in qld due to him not having to go over the pits(once over never again unless defect etc), i told him car gets car and screamer welded up to get a roadworthy prior to selling which was done, no dyno was done after that so yeah levin + new cat = -50fwkw i spose if you look at it like that but yeah when dave dropped exhaust from dump back instantled jumped like 50fwkw heres a pic of the dyno at daves and yeah explains itself, curve is ALOT smoother and no power drop like in qld dyno sheets high tech dyno :hammer:

no lies here. When the car first went in for a tune, it made something in the vicinity of 140-155fwkw(dave called me saying car was ready and he could only pull 206hp out of it lol) on 14psi-20psi, i took the car back to dave as it spat a plug that was blocking a hole in the throttle body which i took the car back to dave to put a thread in it and muck around with it, i spoke with him saying that there is no way the car should be making that low power figure, he agreed, said it may have been an ignition problem, so dave had the car for awhile tinkering with it and put a few relays on it, he then dropped the exhaust, car made closer to 210fwkw, that being said, he then inspected the cat, the cat was rather blocked with just muck/deposits etc so that was err "cleaned out"... lol and car made the 206.1fwkw run. I doubt dave is the sort of person that would feck with power figures. the tune from qld was always known as a conservative tune(should have made more power) but alas, car is going back to dave's to get the FPR fitted along with a miss fixed, and tuned on 20psi(he originally didnt tune it on 20psi as he said it made enough power on 18psi so yeah) I was shocked when he said over the phone it only made 206hp, he also said boost was all over the shop which he rectified by fiddling with the EBC(was set to be way to sensitive) P.S I don't think this makes sense now. So quickly, First time it went in, car made like 155fwkw(approx figure from my head)/206hp at the wheels Car went back to Daves to get the idle fixed and let him have a tinker Idle was fixed/few wiring things fixed/cat was modified car made the 206fwkw on 18psi and 175-180fwkw on 14psi/16psi So yeah thats essentially it. But I am sure none of you think Dave would be the dodgy bastard that does bogus dyno sheets eh Edit: You all remember Dui's/Daniels old 86, that made approx 160rwkw with less boost/not as modded and was tuned/dynoed by dave, cars down south are making 160fwkw with little t28's/wrx turbos on 15-20psi just as a ballpark

car made 206.1fwkw 18psi(sneaking up to about 18.5ish psi) havnt had net at home nor have i been at work. will scan her up, car saw 175-180fwkw on 14 AND 16psi, only difference being is the 16psi had more midrange power. so yeah on 20psi would probably see like 220fwkw perhaps. fuel pressure was a little wavey so grabbed a turbosmart fuel reg to sort that just waiting on the fuel rail adapter and on it goes then back to daves for hime to whack it on and check the A/F ratios and fix a minor missfire

Car is going in for a tune tomorrow :) and a few little things Hope it all goes well and that the clutch goes ok.

managed like 330 kays out of the levins 40L tank lol which i was kinda happy with but that was mainly granny driving i want this clutch bedded in lol Edit: I also noticed Andrew is selling off all his corolla bits

clutch has about 150kays on it now, got it onto boost twice now hehe its holding on about 14psi gonna let it go for about 4-500kays before running it on 20psi but it feels like it will fine :y:

probably going to hang on to it. i don't doubt the twin plate just to hard to drive it properly(dump clutch = wheelspin when taking off) had to ride it abit to ensure a smoothish take off(hardly call it smooth lol) but yeah just need some new clutch plates which will cost about 300 each. so yeah probably keep it just incase. would be rather hard to sell me thinks on the other hand car is going into daves to get tuned next friday along with a few little odds and ends
