  1. I AM WORKING WITH THE MOST ABSOLUTELY RETARTED GOVT SYSTEM OMFG GRRRRRRRR. Meh, the corolla will be new and improved
  2. I was just thinking that, why the fark Adam are you always telling me to get out there? Shane has said he would be taking it out longer then I have lol
  3. Adam first of all you have no %^&ing idea what the deal with my car is so STFU :) I really couldnt give a flying fark if I compete or not, I would rather do it when everything is back in the car anywho. P.S I love it when old springs fly off when taking them out, one shot up about 15metres lol.
  4. I went to the damn motorkhana, only reason I stopped was my tires were literally shredding themselves, also car was overheating and did I mention thats when the CV boot pretty much exploded SHOULD be at lapsprints
  5. Last night was a great success :). Old front springs/shocks out. We used the top plate and rubber from the old springs/shocks on the new. Assembled the new ones off the car with the new strut tops. New combo went in no dramas. The old shocks were rooted, could compress them SO easily and you could hear and feel the gasses escaping. At the moment the car is sitting about the same as it was, when the springs settle I believe that it will be approx 1" lower in the front. But I am so happy with the difference just the front shocks/springs made. Also Shane you know that jitter thing? Its gone now :D. Also I don't think I will be competing in the lap sprints, if I do I will more then likely do the drivers side CV. As it stands the CV has sprayed the entire inner guard and most of the steering gear. I may still compete not sure as of yet.
  6. Bahaha, head next to v6, = hair cut :)
  7. BAHAHAhA I would break you nub. Give me skid rims
  8. Adam bash me, BAHAHAHAHA rofl BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
  9. Might pay you another visit :)
  10. I am HOPING all goes well, Pedders have the strut tops in stock I will be picking them up this arvo. So front shocks/springs should be in tonight. Also discovered my CV IS FARKED, it might just be the boot, even then the shaft wont be far off. Its sprayed everywhere, so If I want to compete at the street drags and at the lap sprints I will have to get handy with the degreaser and hose lol. Also the front will be LOWER. I will definitely have to get my guards rolled properly and possibly flared a little. I have pretty red trailing arm bushes, replacing them was a carnt of a job. Found that smilie ages ago Andrew you aint special lol. SO ADAM WHERE IS MY SPOTTERS FEE, after all the abuse and hassling I deserve it biatch
  11. Andrew that wouldnt happen IF YOU BOUGHT ADAMS FRIGGEN AE71 YOU BASTARD Billet door handles talk about wank factor lol
  12. They are that crappy plastic shit, same thing happened to my mothers old excel lol haha
  13. I told you not to mess with me Adam :) Damn sounds like everyone had an eventful weekend.
  14. Damn that sucks, A mate and I dedicated Saturday arvo to replacing the rear trailing arm bushes(wasn't a problem), myself and a mate then went to replace the front shocks/springs. Oh boy, the parts we ordered were correct(AE82 Twincam(I was told by the previous owner that they were twincam bits)) It turns out the springs in the front are from a Nissan Pintara and they are the rear springs lol. The shocks that were in the front no longer exist(part number superceded). The strut tops were "modified" to fit the afore mentioned springs/shocks. So yeah, all I need is to get the strut tops from pedders for the twincam kyb shocks/king springs. Apart from that replacing the trailing arm bushes with nolathone items did actually make a noticeable difference :)
  15. BAHAHAHA, Shane has come to the darkside (NT Govt.) Anyone up for seeing a movie or something this weekend?

  21. Damn man that sucks to hear, I might be able to find you a painter, he works for a panel/paint shop(Can't remember which one) but he does cash jobs on the side. I will try contact him for you mate :lolcry:
  22. I also have the VVT Pulley problem, not that big of a problem till the VVT stops completely, happened to a mates silvertop, he wasnt impressed lol
  23. Hrrm I thought it was alot earlier. Well I guess I wont be getting an allignment after swaybar/strut braces are on. I don't see why I would need to either.
  24. That would be ideal, however I am not sure how it will go, when does scrutineering start? How long does it take?
  25. Yeah I know just would of preferred to have it all in. Depending if I can get bob jane to do it late as possible. Ultimately I will get the shocks/springs in this weekend so I can drive it as much as possible next week to give the springs a chance to settle. Then get the swaybars/strut braces fitted early saturday morning, after scrutineering, wheel allignment saturday arvo for track meet on sunday
