  1. Hrrm tempting. I am not sure what I will be doing with the shocks and springs I would more then likely sell them. I got the springs/shocks at cost anyways. Lol, just called JNL crankshafts then. A younger bloke/kid answered the phone, was rather weird, he went quiet for about 30 seconds and then said, ohh wait Justin isnt here then took my details, Justin will call me later :jamie: So yeah was quite um awkward?
  2. http://www.isc-coilovers.com/ Same thing as Bazda uses. Look to be reasonable and there rather affordable.
  3. Yeah thats true to :jamie: Coilovers are sexy :hmm:
  4. I don't get peoples obsessions with screamer pipes. Sound like shit also as Danno said.
  5. Yeah it does to some extent. However most of the Corolla stuff is interchangeable I believe. Main thing I would guess would be gearbox size would be one of the main differences in the shaft length. The AE101 20V "Equal Length" driveshafts were the ones I found out had a 15-20mm shorter shaft. Don't know. Found on twincam but one of the more reputable posters.
  6. Lol. So going external wastegate?
  7. Yeah had a read up. A few of the C/E Series gearboxes came with "Equal Length" driveshafts on some of them. However one of the shafts is like 15-20mm shorter then the other?
  8. Or dodgy engine blowing up or you smashing into a pole perhaps?
  9. Yeah true true. I plan to somewhat remedy Torque Steer with an LSD of some sort. I have just had a brain fart. Do any of the E-Series boxes come with Equal length driveshaft set ups?
  10. I wouldn't be doing if it wasn't what I wanted lol. Trying to beef up the biceps, ain't one for the gym or weights, my idea, Torque Steer = Tickets to the gun show :) But yeah :y: Just want it done.
  11. Meh, I like the car, be different and god help me I prefer FWD over RWD?
  12. I was leaning more along of the lines of what Adam said lol. But yeah. I think I might get a few more things. And save a little. In the mean time go into Hi-Tech and have a chat and let him no my intentions. Find out approx how much. What sort of deposit would be needed or whatever. I just want it done and not have to worry. He has once quoted me close on $5,000 for a rebuild inc pistons. I don't think rods were in there but I have been researching the SPOOL rods and have heard great things. So yeah I reckon if I got most of the big things out of the way. Have him organise the rebuild of the motor, have him tune it, have him set the turbo system up(lines etc) and maybe intercooler piping. I reckon it might end up costing me up to $7,500ish but yeah won't know till I see him.
  13. I could almost picture the look on his face actually then something along the lines of. PFFT GTFO! Go to jism :)
  14. I would of course still supply a majority of the bigger parts Eg: Ecu, Turbo, I/C, Manifold, Plenum and a few other things. Less parts I supply more money Dave will ultimately get.
  15. Maybe if I wake up early enough :) haha. I just want the car done. Just wanna dump the car at Hi-Tech say rebuild and get it done :y: then give me the bill
  16. Shweet so you can have a coilover in 1 corner? Hrrm does Hidden Valley have more left or more right turns? :) Might come out Saturday morning ish, Will be going to either Custom Fab or hi-tech if I get my ass out of bed early enough.
  17. I am almost certain he showed me Purple coilovers (Presumed D2) When I picked up the front window moulds off of the ae82 seca Hrrrrm. I remember him talking about D2 coilovers for the KE70 also? And Adam, you done with the 20V exhaust flange template or what mate? Andrew what Turbo you planning on using?
  18. Why would there only be one coilover WTF?
  19. Not really interested in a C-series box :). Adam depending on if I get time I will be ringing up a few gearbox places to get a few quotes. I might have to get you to look into a 1.5way LSD unit. You told me of 3-4 I think ages ago.
  20. I "believe" it is a gze gearbox, ain't sure. I have to dig up the number on that also, but have SFA idea where the number is rofl.
  21. Anyone know where and if the 20V has the engine number stamped on the block anywheres, Finally looked under car, oil ain't leaking engine which is good. It is the gearbok :)
  22. Adam email me mate, need to chat :)
  23. Hrrm I am not sure, go searching the wreckers? Or maybe call a few radiator shops?
  24. Shweet :y: Will be making some more purchases sometime this week :KY:. Probably radiator and maybe the intercooler also :D But damn its quiet without me :)
  25. Fark I need to go custom fab also :) lol. Thinking of getting an alloy radiator soonish to. Prob one from the guys on toymods look good.
