  1. Thanks FNQ, credit for the mounts must go to Shannon from SimplyMaz...they're awesome. Mick (Radrollaz) has simillar style mount for engine and gbox (I only have that style for the engine, normal rubber style for the box in mine) and he once told me that it's a little harsh on take-off and hard changes, if I remember correctly...because with the hard bushing it's almost a solid mount. Will get pics as fast as possible...haha this turbo's geed me up! Cheers, Mark M
  2. Small update...my GT3076r has arrived... Thanks to Garrett and Shannon from SimplyMaz. I will post more updates soon.
  3. New parts list: Front fork indicators LED - Installed Kuryakyn Mini bullets LED on rear - Installed Kuryakyn Billet curved plate mount - Installed ...just have to wire in some resistors for the LED's, as they draw much less. Really happy with how it looks...nothing over the top, just much neater and a bit more chrome/billet. Billet mirrors - in the mail 2.5" Lowering kit for rear - in the mail Will post up pics asap.
  4. these are the indicators i ordered for the front...pretty schmick IMO.
  5. just found out these pipes have removable baffles.... but until i put even bigger jets in the carbie to get more fuel, I don't want it to run too lean. Ordered some LED blinkers for the front forks to get rid of the big ugly indicators that're on there now. Then plans are as follows: 2.5" Lowering kit for rear (shock drop) Progressive springs for the front Billet chopper Mirrors Billet Numberplate frame, with integrated blinkers Stage 3 re-jet I'll try not to get carried away, but it's hard...these things are so cool and easy to mod! One mod per week should keep me occupied.

  8. How do I add a video?
  9. This is my new cruiser... just something to cruise around on, wether solo in a group or with the missus riding shotgun. Have always wanted a neat harley style cruiser, and this ticked all the boxes at the right price. 2003 Honda Shadow 750, 'American Classic Edition" K&N filter Vance&Hines pipes (F**kin loud and full of V-twin awesomeness) Re-jetted to suit Will probably do some mods later this year, but for now it's perfect.
  10. I'll summarise: Diff got done late 2008 at KCDR Drivetrains (after being recommended by Matt @ Hitech Modifications, cost me $1000). What was quoted as a 1week job turned into months, but eventually i had it back. Then it sat at HiTech Modifications in Londonderry for 18month while the bloke did sweet FA of what he was paid to do. Took it back off him, then took it straight to SimplyMaz for Shannon to do the mounts (which matt was paid to do, and took 18 months to f@$k up)...shan did gearbox and engine mounts from scratch within 1week! When Shanon did the mounts, being the honest bloke he is, he showed me how the pinion offset was not taken into account by the diff shop, so it needed to be redone. He said take it back to the shop (KCDR) and give them a chance to rectify. Took the car back to KCDR (EVEN PAID FOR TOWING!), let's just say the bloke was very rude, bottom line: he was happy to rectify, but I have to pay for a new axle and housing. After many back-and-forth phonecalls I said not fair, told him DFT said he's responsible. He said f@$k off and left my car on the street in Blacktown. So i got it towed home. Now DFT said i need to get it assessed by a qualified person, get them to write a report, then get it fixed and keep the receipts (including towing), send all the paperork into them, and they'll chase the c**t (Glenn @ KCDR Drivetrains). Glenn from KCDR has cost me upwards of $500 so far (Plus the $1000 he was paid in the first place), and I haven't even had the diff fixed yet. Wow what a mouthful. So the new bike is a nice toy to keep me cruisin in style with a clear mind till this shit gets sorted. Cheers, Mark M
  11. slowly slowly. Diff got stuffed by the first mob...now because they're being pricks, I have to get it assessed and fixed and Dept Fair Trading are taking care of the shop involved. it's all gravy baby.

  24. mate i'm pretty sure you can buy a basic kit on egay...any reputable metalwork or fastener supplier should sell them. Rivnuts, aka nutserts, etc.
  25. Got crackin yesterday with my best mate (who happens to be a fabrcator), lucky me. Planned out the fuel system, bent up the half-inch feed hard line, and started cutting *cough*hacking*cough* for the front mount cooler. During the week hopefully i can finish the cutting for the cooler. Next weekend we'll finish off the return hard line, Rivnut for P-clips to hold hard lines in, mount all the fuel pumps. Thats all folks! mark
