  1. Sweet. Did some grinding for intercooler fitting and fuel system designing today… Need to order the fittings for the fuel system, as well as some hose. will post pics and progress on Saturday.
  2. 80mm is the number you're after my friend, just measured it.
  3. I'll get measurements asap for ya buddy. 747: I have a Wilwood reverse mount pedal box already, will be using that with remote reservoirs. Also, finished mounting my ally hard lines (fuel feed & return) with associated P-clips and nutserts on the weekend, they look heaps neat I'm very happy with how they turned out. Attacking the intercooler/radiator setup over the next 2 weeks. Big thanks goes to my best mate Adam for his fabrication skills.
  4. Thanks guys. I've been reading good stuff about "POR15" brand engine paint and prep materials...anyone had experience with them?
  5. Hi all, about to pull out my 4a to give it a clean up and paint. after some advice and experiences from you guys/gals on what brands of paint and methods of prep/paint to use. Engine will be stripped down to just Block & Head (not seperating). Only interested in doing the block in standard black. Advice is greatly appreciated. Cheers, Mark M
  6. Unfortunately no... Finally sold my moto tho, and debt free now so i'll be back on it asap. Should be going into Westside Mufflers for some fabrication work in July/August - Exh/WG, piping, diff, etc. Just saving up the cash atm...sick of doing things in bits and pieces.
  7. Hi there, try Westside Mufflers in Padstow…fantastic work, second to none. Cheers, Mark M
  8. nice sled! how much power it make? and on what boost?
  9. those high-top air filters are pure N-Z...cool ride! have a matching pair of high-top "chucks"? haha
  10. Think they'll have to be custom jobbies mate...next to no chance of finding good mounts already made up. Any fabrication shop should be able to hook you up, expect to pay upwards of $1000 for good quality engine & gearbox mounts. If you look at my thread, my mounts cost me 1600 (Poly tubular engine mounts & tube gearbox xmember using supra mount), through Shanon @ Simply Maz (Sydney). Hope that helps
  11. This car is the best ke20 on the scene...well done Jase, 9 years was well worth it. Looks even better in the flesh. Inspiration to get cracking on my car.
  12. Mirrors are a WIN! they look awesome, sets it off. keep up the good work, love the red interior.
  13. Hi all, Just call or PM me for more details http://sydney.gumtree.com.au/c-Cars-Vehicles-Motorbikes-Parts-motorbikes-motorcycles-scooters-motorbikes-motorcycles-2003-Honda-Shadow-VT750-American-Classic-Edition-W0QQAdIdZ258206534 cheers, Mark M
  14. Awesome build mate...this is going to be a overrated setup, with big cahunas aswell.
  15. Pedal box gooonnnee My ghetto-spec surge tank My missus actually put the dummy surge tank together, and did a great job! Thanks bub!
  16. One day when both our cars are finished, you and I will race! haha it will be a race so full of early-girl ke20 goodness... keep up the good work.
  17. hehe this corolla has seen the last of its "shopping with granny" days. yep odysee's are neat as. there's like a big war between odysee and optima owners...pick your side. haha
  18. yep Teflon lined braids are the way to go for getting rid of fuel smell. I was going to run the teflon anyway, as I plan to switch to E85 later on. Cheers for the heads up tho.
  19. -Quoted from Toymods haha my work computer won't let me onto Toymods, so can only reply here. Teflon braids = no fuel smell :)
  20. started measuring for surge tank last night, going to dummy it up out of cardboard tonight then drop off the dummy to my mate for fabricating. anyone know the legalities of having the battery mounted with the fuel system together in the wheel well? I will probably have the room in there to fit an Odyssee or similar battery...
  21. I have a constant reminder of the awesomeness of this car....black strips on the street outside my house. haha
  22. updates/pics? still can't believe that crap about the doors and that...scum
  23. Thanks man, It's just so much neater with a pedal box and remote MC setup. Going to probably have the MC reservoirs mounted in the vents behind the bonnet, if they'll fit. I reckon! I can't wait to get this thing going. it will be a while tho, would like to have it running within this year but we'll see how it pans out. How's your car going cuzzo?
  24. I didn't order the masters yet, as not 100% on what brakes i'll be running. Will be engineered. No booster, but has twin masters for brakes...should pull up great, and save some weight in the process. Wilwood MC's go for $50-80 US, so no biggie.
  25. I'll msg stas to update the thread, it's all done.
