  1. come over when claire moves up..
  2. I'm in wellington.. but erm..can i exchange that 4k piston for a cheeseburger ?:D
  3. thats oldschool..just like my corolla :D , I'm sick of that layout, almost every forum uses it.
  4. heh..$300au ? i sold mine to a guy in tassie for $400aud, and he paid for freight $135nz, they are getting hard to find over here too, people are starting to realise what they are worth...
  5. lol..depends how I'm feeling and whether I'm on camp or not, if I'm at home, usually some toast, if I'm out at the military camp, usually bacon, eggs, sausage with a glass of orange juice :D
  6. looks good claire :D does she run good ? on a sidenote - iv almost removed the springs and blocks from my car for you, so il get them boxed up, and il send them to you via warwick k?
  7. not wanting to go off topic, but I'm running a tubeframe, or in the process of building one up. on paper, my rack and pinion setup has it custom mount on some brackets, which i just mig welded to my chassis frame, iv also heard that aw11 rack and pinion fits in to the early ke corollas quite nicely, not sure on the ke30 or 70 though.
  8. hey happy bday man, don't drink to much :D
  9. happy bday dude, hope you have a good one.
  10. I'm in the process of putting a ke70 rack and pinion setup into my ke30, but I'm using custom mounts etc, due to a lack of cross member and firewall in my car, but it seems to bolt straight in fine, the exhaust might get in the way a bit, but i havent got one of those either. apparently ke70 xmembers are the same as ke30s, or so iv heard.
  11. its worth a try trd ke70, i think iv got a couple of axles from a late '80s townace, so i might have a play around, i don't mind about getting custom axles, its just a hassle to wait for them :D
  12. after browsing toymods using their oh so elegant search function, all i could find was using a RN10/13/25/27 axles but use the RN27 housing(which i have), and then i have to get the axles re-studded(is that a word?:D), otherise stick with 5stud, and use ma70 rear discs, or possibly st205 discs and calipers or i think il do a bit more research though. - David
  13. hmm..as much as i don't like toymods..might be time to go annoy them :D thanks for ya help, will keep you guys posted on what i find out.
  14. iv got a Racetech 4009, very comfy, its a fixed back bucket which cost me around $599nz, but it holds me in nicely and has good padding and is also FIA approved, easy to get out of as well, but hampered a bit with a rollcage in the car.
  15. hmm, the reason i can't be bothered swapping the front to a 5 stud or 6 stud, is because my front disc rotors are 4stud, and iv already bought them at an expensive price, so i was hoping it was possible to swap the rear to a 4stud. is the ford 9" and volvo a 4stud ?
  16. welcome dude. your ke70 looks cool :D
  17. mine is dated like 2000, but knowing the guys in parts, they have probably given me something from 98..
  18. hey I'm going be doing a Hilux rear end conversion into my corolla, I'm looking at getting an 8" lsd rear end from an early model hilux, but its a 5 stud axle, is it possible to convert this to 4 stud ?, il be shortening the diff housing to fit it into my car, so would i be best just to get some custom axles made up or is there some out there which are strong that i can use which will be able to handle 400hp ? cheers David
  19. oh, sweet as, thanks for that guys :D - David
  20. ahh k, might be time to bring my external hdd out and have a play around. cheers for that grimwolge
  21. i didnt download mine - i got it from work, i think i might have forgotten to do something, like setup a cache or something :D
  22. hmm..iv go the epc, but it never works for me, always crashes :D any ideas on whats wrong ?
  23. no, its a TE71 levin/trueno as with every other early model toyota, they cameout as corolla, sprinters, truenos and levins, that there will have a 2TGEU - 1600 dohc fuel injected.
  24. those are some nice looking wheels what size are they ? 14s or 15s ? warwick still hasnt called or anything :D
  25. you have possibly blown the charge light fuse, which will cause the light to glow, depending on your level of knowledge you can carry out some tests at home, but you will need to pull the alternator apart to do some of them.
