OK i just take the ball off, those things are worth a overrated O and now I'm thinking on what wheels i want on it, i found these i like them a lot WheelZ What are these called?
-
Another Question. I want to take the toe bar off, easy done. But since it is an after market one can I also take the support strut off? It bolted to the chassis and I don't want to loose structural integrity, even though it wasn't there in the first place. But now it's got to big holes through the chassis?

Hmmmm.... I will have to look at the cut and polish idea, the back pretty dirty from finger marks, then try to sand it out. Last resort is doing the whole panel! Oww my fingers
-
Paint over lap problems... I have finished another area, but there is a major differences between the spray area and the normal paint, the re-sprayed part it much better.... how do I blend the different shades together?

*********** Part 1 - Body Work *********** It was a productive day, Teddy came over, and we pulled the back bumper. Its a aftermarket which struck us both odd, had to get under and unbolt it... not a easy talk, considering the bolts were seized :insane: Teddy showed my how to fix up the surface rust, got 1 area done. A lot to do tomorrow. We got impatient so will pulled the tape and the paint started to peel off... I hope I don't have to redo that part it's real nice. I started on the spoiler, it was heavy cracking, its was through the paint even in some parts of the plastic, so the top was completely sanded down and tomorrow I will do the sides Pics PS now my fingers feel all smooth and weird

Jason replied to wyldephyre's topic in Rollaclub Social (Off-Topic)
What your saying there _not_ cool...... :D AAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA thats some funny shite :insane: Is the site being serious or is it making fun of them?? -
Just to add a bit of info, the Spirit has no class, as in CSX and CS as Teddy and I found out.
-
nuh i carnt figure out how the plastic lugs work, i don't want to break them. cool, i thought that was a lot of rust for a 'good' car :insane:
-
heheheehehehe mmmm 7500rpm valve bounce, don't worry the motor was warmed up, I'm a bad boy :insane: :D AND so it begins..........

:insane: i got my spirit.... Along with some not so good news. It has some rust, not that major but enough to be concerned about, looks like some more $$$ I don't want to spend. Its on both rear wheel arches, and under the rear left mudflap, dam that sneaky rust. But I cleaned it up got rid of the nasty back sun shade, got rid of the hideous stickers that had 20 year old glue under them *shudders* Pics and BTW teddy i carnt get the back bummper off

You'll find a $100 drill press is a worth wile investment, you can pick them up at Bunning, I don't know were I would be without mine :insane:
-
Hmm I must have missed the transplant guide, thanks. Good read. ECU looks like fun to hook up, by the looks of it, pretty simple :insane: bring it on just a load off... the Ae101 does have MAP don't it???
-
Wooo, ive cleared a space for it in my garage. :insane: Teddy knows how it looked before
-
He was late because he forgot his keys, and me and teddy were just about to go, but its in really good condition, _very_ little rust, runs really well. :insane: Hes bringing it over tomorrow :D PS I think teddy's a lil' jealous :D BTW you can see the rust in that photo

Yes, the later model puts out just over 120kw :insane:
-
That is too much I am on a strict budget, I can afford to go over a bit, but not a lot. I've basically made up my mind to go for the 4AGZE, it got some power, I don't want to much, it is only my first car.
-
How much more effort is required for mounting? Will i need a new gear box for that power? And would there any more trouble in putting it in a KE70
-
:insane: $350 for a motor, wow, i was thinking around $1500 for a cheap one!!
-
Not in particular just I am a little power hungry :jason: ... well as to beat a friend's commodore :insane: hes just so dam cocky Ok, I'm starting to look for an Ae71, is there any model I should be looking for say csx? Also I'm trying to get model with the front lights pulled in, I just think they look a little meaner, are they on a particular model? --- I just got around to reading your article teddy (nice work) can't get an Ae71 with cool lights, but ill get over it So what price should I be aiming at for the car?
-
Sorry for not being specific enough, it's now updated

Hey All I'm Jason ! I live around the corner from Teddy, and for a while now i have been researching to what car i would like. I have seen Teddy's car go through a transformation, and its rubbed of onto me !! I have had a chat with teddy, but i would like some more info on a few things if thats possible. I have been saving for a long time now, and i have a limit of $8000 - to include the car, rego, blue plate stuff.. etc. I know teddy has a Ke70, but he said i need an Ae71 to make things simple when it comes to putting a 4age motor into the car. I would like to put the 4agze into it, but i am not completely sure how to go about it. Can any one here point me in the correct direction how to go about this, and anything else i would need to know? - i will also need to obviously upgrade the drive line, breaks, suspension. i would like to do as much of the work as possible. Thanks for that!
