thanks man, as far as i knew a ke25 was a coupe and a ke20 was the 2-Door sedan, which also came in a 4-Door and a wagon ke26 where you live jamie cause i am soooo coming over to get everything rolla you got and don't want, and if its too far away ill have it mailed to me. muller

The red rocket, i have since registered it under the plates NEAT 25. i will also get some pictures of it somewhere nice, just don't know yet. you should also know that this car is not my project but a few of the people have expressed interst in the car so i thought id put a few picks up anyway. ill get some actual pictures of my project car up later; hope you like the pictures. muller

Hey everyone out there in rollaland. i thought its about time i got off my lazy ass and posted up the project that i have just started to undertake. First off ill start with what it is and how i came to own it.... My cousin and i are pretty good mates and we are both pretty much right into little bozz box cars as he has owned numerous datsun's. a couple of 1200 coupes that were bush bashed and is basically where he learned to handle a car so well, i envy him as i had never had this chance, and he has also owned a couple of 1200 utes. two of them are in the background of one of the pictures that i will post up in this build-up. so thats where my love of little cars began. I thought to myself what can i get that none of my friends have had or are doing because i like to be a little different. my cousin had the datto scene pretty well covered, another two of my mates are right into there gemi's and another couple into early model rotaties (RX2/RX3). So after questioning a few people of what they would recomend as a great little car to bugger around in i came to the decision that "I'm goin to get a rolla" and it was great cause ther was NO ONE else with any in my area. I looked around a little and instantly came to be most fond of the ke20 2-Door Sedan as well as the ke25. so i did some more hunting around and couldnt find a dam thing in my local area. Me and my cousin did countless k's in the persuit of one and still came up with nothing. then out of the blue my cousin turns to me and says that his brother has some things in a self storage facility and while his mother was helping him moove some things there she had noticed a couple of little cars tucked away in a shipping container that he thought could have been rollas. We went to the facility and inquired about the container on there front lawn and he clamped down saying that he was not allowed to tell us what was in anything or some shit like that and we asked if he could find the details of the owner of the crate and he agreed. little time later i got onto the guy that owned the crate and asked him if there were two little cars in it and he said yes there was with a suprised look on his face that people actual knew that they were there. opened the crate and low and behold there was a ke25 and a ke20 2-Door Sedan. I bought the ke20 ($1000) and my cousin bought the ke25 ($1000) which he later figured that he didnt really want it and i bought it off him. talking to the guy i obught them off and he told me that he was goin to do them up for his grand kids but they didnt want them so he abandoned them really and left them sit in the container. They had been in there out of the weather for 10 years!!!. The ke20 was rallyed and had a pretty good motor in it and some suspension things while the ke25 had an imaculate interior and a complete respray and just neat as. so i got the red ke25 on the road as my daily untill the engine died :D and the ke20 was stuck in the shed and left till now. I'm dale kerrigan........and that was my story. hehe sorry for writing so much but hey.....you don't have to read it. Pictures soon.

thanks for the comments nick, although i bought the car as is so i can't take all of the credit as i hate people who take credit for someone elses hard work. ill start up a page in the projects area soon.

I'm only goin to have a look. i gotta get my cams liscence and actualy join the club first but i like to watch anyway. :D my red rocket, which is actually slow and even slower since it digested a bottomm end bearing, but I'm doin a transplant to upgrade from the old 3k. ps. thanks guys, i know all about the dif wheels and the stud patterns and all that. i heard that a celica diff was basically bullitproof and i know the boxes in them will take alot. and hey, its a 1600cc. what would you recommend as a strong dif that will bolt in and wont break. i will be welding it up too.

i got hotwire mags on my 25 and i don't like them much, i reckon i will use them as skid wheels or something like that, and i got some 2piece wheel on me 20 but f@$kt if i know what it is though. i LOVE the globe mags and i got a set of them 13 X something and I'm hunting around for a 14"/15" set cause i don't like the tyer flex and associated body-roll that goes with spongy tyers. anyone want to sell a set?? I'm goin wrecker hunting this arvo and i might find something that i like. the first pic is m hotwires and the second is the 2piece something. ultimatly i want a set of Simmonds OM16's chrome rim with white center, DROOL

shit, this thing sounds like a weapon, maybe you could take out the sound system :D are you running N/A class or what?? otherwise supercharge it or something. good power gain with less components and mucking around than a turbo set-up. what your ET down too these days??

what does the kit include, seals and stuff like that, ive never pulled apart a carb before. are they worth it and how long does it last if you cain your car constantly compared to a grand-pa driver?

Got a few question with regards to diffs in my ke20 and ke25 cars. 1. Are the diffs interchangable with eachother? or are they different sizes?? 2. I know a ke30 diff will fit and be stronger as well as having larger brake drums, but how much ill increase my track width?? as i don't want to put flairs onto the guards. 3. i also know that a TA22 Celica diff fits well into a 20/25 but track is much overhanging the guards but how hard are they to fit into the car?? 4. i also have a full running TA22 at my disposal and was wondering how hard it would be to fit the engine/box/tailshaft/diff completely?? thanks in advance, muller

The Saleyard Sprint is awesome", yeah ive been to a couple of them spectatin and i reckon ill give it a crack, ive already bought another rolla for it. ke20, cage, 5k, 5spd, king springs front, brake booster, taco, sports wheel, wrap around drivers seat, and a couple of other little things. got it as is from melb off a kid who needed the money more than the car at the time........SCORE for me :D love the saleyards meet the best cause as much fun as dirt is the real fun for me anyway is on the black-top. the pictures i have of my rides are way too big and take longer than i have patience to upload as an attachment so someone tell me how to resize them and ill post em up. by the way i don't have a single photo program better than microsoft paint :lolcry: yeah i know super jamie a litle bit but ill have to chat more with him cause id really love to pick his brain about a few things. my nick name is just my last name by the way, Ashley Muller, aka just muller. oh, and by the way colin (coln72) the next meet for bendigo car club is today but i havent got time to go see it so ill go the last one for the year, the saleyards run on Dec 3rd their site says, so maybe ill catch you there. ill try and have my 25 on the road by then :jamie:

hey guys, you are a funny bunch of people here, love it. I'm Ashley or just 'muller' to most people and mates. i joined this site AGES ago but its taken me till now like a year or more later to post my 2nd!!! post, lol. I'm not new to the almighty rollas but i am new to this site so ill have to meet as many of you as i can oneday, in the vic area anyway. i live in Bendigo by the way and would be great if anyone else here was from bendigo or close. where can i get a sticker from too, that would be great and might drag a few people out of the wood work in my area. i can get my own made up by the way so would you people mind if i were to design a custom one?? and could someone post up a pic of the current design. i own a couple rolla's all of which are ke model's. At the moment I'm working on a 25 and a 2X20's. i got an everyday 25 which is nothing special really, just super straight and neat (hence the number plate 'NEAT.25') and are currently stripping down a 20 for a full on project as well as stripping another 20 for club rallying, motorkahna, kahnacross and a hill climb is on the callender once a year with the local club. thats me really, can't get enough of the rolla's, of the ke10threw25 ones anyway. so as soon as i gwap the engine in my daily (digested a bottom end bearing and now sounds like a light truck at the moment) i can get out there again and do what i love, driving. sorry for writing so much but youll get over it, and ill get pictures up of me rides as well as my project in the projects thread area.

I got a KE20 2-Door Sedan with a 5K engine, webbers, extractors, sports exhaust, possible head work, mags and ts droped on its guts. I plan on doin it up as a tough streter but also want it to run a not to shabby time down the quarter. I'm just after ideas on what would fit in with minimal hassel and are leaning toward a SR20DET from a GTi-R or a 3S-GTE form a late model MR2. As well as goin faster i want it to stop on a dime so some help would be great there and also handle like a go kart as much as possible. Any help would be great as I'm new to the wors od corollas and you all know more than me. thanks a bunch.
