  1. well i took the rolla down for test and tune wens night forgot to take my gloves!! so i couldnt do my licensing i got booted out 3rd run went 10.3 @ 129 with backing off up top end cause it was loose as and the wall was getting to close for my liking lol so i dare say we will be seeing a 9 out of it in the future
  2. i recon your going to have to cage this thing or the cortina and get serious ! :-)
  3. there is no easy way to do things like this both ways well cost you lots of money time and heart ache unfortunately, i would maybe save some coin up till you get your full licence then go all out mate choice of engine should not be a hard choice just go with what excites you !

  5. well the auto was in and worked great until i shit 2nd gear in the first powercruise session, unbelievable how much easier it is to drive we gave a few of the big v8 auto boys a surprise that's for sure, anyway auto has been back to the shop and hopefully sorted next stop will be the the drags soon as i get time to put it all together see how we go this time.

  7. MMMM Big port Big turbo BIG boost rota (don't knock the 12A it will make very good number) yeah nothing wrong with a 12a thats for sure ! seen some big numbers come from them before

  9. yeah don't worry i get people asking why i didnt go 2J or sr20 ect its real simple hey if you like rotors you wont question it, just get the thing built right and can't go wrong, just go 13bt you be right mine is mod plated in qld with 13bt
  10. i love rotors specially bridgeports! no regrets, very happy with the engine goes hard, sounds great, and its very easy to work on.

  12. i have driven it with the 4 speed manual in it when it had 400hp at the treads it was a handful ! wish i would have left the leaf sprung ass end in it bit of a pig around corners cause its been built for straight line but it is still great fun no doubt! and scary ! the auto might make it bit easyier to drive
  13. well the clutch held in long enough to get it tuned up but started to slip badly at the end of the last pull only just cracked the 500 horseys pretty good for a to4z turbo ! got the 4 speed out this arvo ready to throw the auto in !
  14. thanks mate the colour is custom blue pearl i guess you could call it, the guy that painted it let me play with his tinter system to make my own its got like red, white pearl in it, more power coming as long as the clutch holds up on the rollers tomorrow !
  15. going auto because i shit the clutch at the powerplay and instead of paying the best part of 2 grand for a twin plate job the auto is costing me a little bit more and will be stronger and faster down the strip but to be honest i would prefer the manual way more fun but its always going to be a weak point.

  18. heres some fresh pics got 4 extra injectors on board now total of 8 indyblue 1600cc should be right for fuel now ! will be on the dyno for tune up this week

  21. yeah power is great comes on so fast and strong be interesting when we crank some more boost into it, but want the car sorted before that happens but when you do get around for a look hopefully be actually finished lol
  22. cheers guys yeah i don't see the big deal with them ether but i got one thats been sitting in my shed for ever, i been asked what i want for it, but by the sounds ebay might be the go as it always is with some of this hard to get stuff.
  23. yeah i got stuffed around close to 2yrs for those back wheels !! long story behind that i was so over it, powerplay didn't go as well as i would liked did 2 laps in the first session and back tyre's were scrubbing something shocking, the rear tyres were given to me and the profile was a little to big (26x8's) but i couldn't complain for the price there M T street tyre's so yeah but its also the reason why the ass end was sitting a little high, i made a few adjustments to the diff and got it all sorted just in time for the next session hooked up that well the clutch started slipping by 2nd lap !! clutch was near new, was a wicked ride while it lasted felt so strong. i have done a few test and tunes, and there's a shit load of trips down there to come just sorting out new gearbox (Auto) and changing the front suspension.
  24. just wondering if anyone can tell me what a big port head is worth these days they are the ones with the welsh plug on the back i believe
