yeah mate thats why i went with the 2 door there wicked, the funny part is this thing was actually porche pastel blue first paint job i was heart broken when i seen it roll outta the booth dents all over the roof a big dent in the bonnet orange peeled to the shit! and a body line at the rear quarter was missing!! lol i dead set had tears hey so close to binning it but problem was it was all set up ready to go everything was a bolt straight in, long story short guy that saved her and fixed it all up properly is a legend and now a good mate. i wish i could do sprints and hill climbs in mine but i went silly with the back end so doesnt like corners too much but yeah i hoping to get to willowbank more this year so come check it out if your near by have you run yours at the drags yet?? should pull a decent time hey ?

nah i didn't go at all didn't hear anything about it but i think it was the first power cruise i went to when i had guys coming up to me asking the question ive actually seen another ke30 similar colour to ours on ebay a while back now, what is your colour ford blue print or something ?

scored a pair of MT drag radials for the big girl 225/50/15s should fit and sit nice with them on, got them for powercruises but thinking i might give them a hit at the drags and see how well they bite, sorted a few rear suspension dramas out to hopefully will be interesting to see how it goes now, thinking i might take it down in the next few weeks, got to tidy few things up on it for a photo shoot too so looking forward to that ! :dance:

yeah I'm happy as went down hoping to crack a 9 more in it yet still on a mild tune running around 14psi, 60 foot was 1.44 mate i was there had 6 runs wasnt too many cars there was a great night ! auto is a jatco 3 speed

took the big girl to test and tune sat night was a great night for it finally got signed off on my license first run, then spent the rest of the evening getting use to the car ran 5 passes all low 10's then last run went 9.95 at 133 mph wasn't the straightest run ive done was loose as at half to 3 quarter track but all good ! even got to drive it on the trailer at the end of the night !

9.95 @ 133mph 60 foot 1.44 for me :-)

i know there mazdas and this is a corolla site just thought i would post this link to the you tube vid out of interest theres a few rotor fans on here I'm pretty sure, it is an amazing crash !!! and only happened on the weekend, scary stuff!! both drivers walked away apparently

yeah i heard little plans a while back for that thing but at that stage you didnt want to molester it so I'm guessing you caved in lol,

i recon you will get a 9 out of that cortina no worries i think gearbox and diff set up play a bigger part be good if you can get it of the line hard and clean that's the battle, my ke30 come shy of making 400hp at treads on low boost with auto i ran 10.3 and had to back off twice so i didn't end up in the wall, but cortina may need the few more pony's to carry the extra weight i suppose, going to be interesting to see how it all goes that's for sure
