not far off going for another run now !!! spool showed up today

wheelie bars have always been on the cards but hoping to avoid them and plus i need to fork out for a parachute before that ever happens I'm 3 mph off needing it think i will get booted out if i crack 140mph without one i've bought a spool for her from the states worked out so much cheaper even with the shipping, a welded centre will only go for so long before it bites you in the ass i recon.

60 foot was 1.46 with that run, its got a 2 step set up in it but have not used it yet might have to install wheelie bars first !

Well i finally got the old girl going again, had a photo shoot done before the test and tune on sat so soon to be in zoom apparently had 3 good runs best was 9.77 at 137mph other 2 runs were 9.78 at 137 and 9.87 @136

been so long since i seen this thing always wondered where its been, looks good!

nah no good for circuit stuff, straight line only which i wish i didnt do in alot of ways but anyway,

yeah went a bit silly when building this thing got the ladder bar set up with spax coil overs the whole back end is pretty much adjustable the mounts for original leaf and shockies is still all there incase this setup failed so far so good anyway

yeah gives it a big jolt when theres a backfire he recons to4's are really bad for it and he sees it all the time, the new replacement shaft is a left handed thread so he tells me that solves the problem fingers crossed !! but I'm pretty keen on giving the radials another shot i recon it will go very close to a high 9 if i can get it off the line faster for once it drove straight too ! so stiffening the coil overs in rear has made a hell of a difference which is why when we head back down slicks will be back on see how much better it will go, was a crazy before that ass end going one side of the track to the other lol

cheers mate yeah was pretty happy with the 10 considering i left the line without the transbrake, the turbo is completely rooted had the boys at MTQ up here pull it down the shaft is fused to the wheels he seems to think it was cause by a backfire that jars the turbo and makes it turn the opposite way which is why the nut has come off the front of it i may have hit the limiter on the last burnout but mates watching recon i didnt so i don't know, we putting it down as bad luck rebuilding it and go again ! oh yeah just out of interest too my car weighed in at 950kgs in scrutineering was suprised to see it under a ton !!!

Heres a few pics from the pro street shoot out, was a great day out ! was not so good for me, i only managed to get 3 runs in first one spun up most of the track, 2nd run i got grip left the line without the trans brake and went 10.9 @ 134, 3rd run the nut on the front of my turbo decided to come off !! lost boost around the 60foot so that was the end of my day pretty stocked to get a 10 sec pass on 225/50 radials

yeah mate theres pics on the first few pages of my rolla rides i changed the colour of them from gold to silver but was going to do them black next and turn the white walls back around but i don't use them any more so there just sitting there tyres are like new !!

yeah i wanted to go in dyo but didnt know the rules might hit them up on the day see if i can but i rang the head boss man of the pro street series he said i can go in pro street class with my slicks or outlaw radial so yeah but he also did say there trying to start a pro rotor class if they can get the numbers that would be sweet as, would love to go to tnt tonight but i just wont have time

lol would be a good photo but i wouldnt give him much of a race leave me for dead haha but it would be fun i have to say

Well I'm all entered and ready to go for the first proper race meet in the big girl pro sheet shoot out on the 12th march should be a good day out got a few mates racing as well, i was silly enough to enter outlaw radial so I'm up against the king himself !!! so my goal for the day will be to drive the car back onto the trailer at the end of the day or 2nd place would be nice, 2 rollas on the podium would be sweet as i think, i really don't know what to expect with my car running these 225/50/15 radials wait and see i guess.
