my 4k wouldnt fire and found out its that ballist resistor thing near the coil, just join the two wires together to test so it bypasses it.

get a breaka bottle fill it with acetylene quickly put the lid back on get abit of paper roll it into a log then rubber band it to the neck, light paper and roll it under a car when some1 working on engine..or when they on the toilet out front of door. i just did this other weekend i got corona front bar and a ke55 rear bar $200 for both. rear bar sits nice just need to make a L bracket and use the welded in nuts on the rear. front bar had to cut like... err 1 inch or so off each side also cut that black strip down aswell it has bolts on the rear so u can take it off and make another L bracket and use the original bolt holes both sit really nice and super strong used like 5mm thick plate and welded it on. ill get some pictures of the bars if u wanna see. we using the same cable didnt know theres something new! anyway also i bought a usb HDtv tuner for my laptop and it came with a half meter cable antenna but i cut it up and used a LAN cable to make it longer dodgy i know but it freaking works better no drop outs and i get bris31! and i put it on the other side of the house away from the house antenna, just on the corner of the patio it has tree hanging over it aswell!! cheers T

rolled/flared guards with bog fit 15x9 -5 easy, and in a crash the bog hardly came off just cracked. IMO flared guards look better if u spend abit of time with them so its minimual bog, then bolt ons. cheers T

WGMG3: people who cut up the 2nd lane from behind you when they know it merges 5 meters ahead just to get in front of you. ok not much done recently since got no job...sucks anyway i bought front(corona) and rear (KE55) bumpers for $200 both have lights in them yippy! so heres a few pics of how they sit just need to make some brackets on weekend to get em in. also note in pictures just need to cut the front down about 1inch each side and the holes along the front are to mount a black strip i took off for repairs AND the beaver panel is a wrecked one just to test clearances (have other one at mates) cheers T

when i was working at midas i did a service and left my ratchet under the hood, and that day a guy had got fired so i thought the ass stole it... blamed him for ages untill 9months later the car came back for a service with a complaint about a rattle noise i checked it out and tada! my ratchet.. oh well cheers t

this is where mine sits in a manual jun 82 ke70. I'm sure it was original manual since it has the clutch cable cup on the fire wall, not sure if it was 4spd or 5spd cheers T

hey everyone I'm Teemu..just call me Dan i got a 82 ke70 bought it for $300 bits of usual rust and stuff but fun to drive not much done to it but as everyone here knows little bits make a big difference. done so far: STOCK AS A 4K! 4k NO LOCKED DIFF ( omg i know ) ryobi one way adjustable suspension monroe shocks xt130 LCA TA22 quad headlights ( cut standard grill) AE86 front bar ( fully zipped up everywhere so i just choped it to make it fit for fun) supercheap chrome mirrors on fenders front fenders flared for future wheels but atm got 15x7 +(enter FWD offset 28) RS-8 watanabes rear wheels are some 15x7 performance wheel things striped sound deadening from rear all painted matt black ( slowly getting to the front) 4.5kg out so far haha was beige but i sprayed matt everywhere to start sanding and find low/high spots ( not to many!) future plans are worked 4k or 5k ( love my old skool stuff ) front coilovers new rear springs/shocks some new rims to fill out my flares and new paint back to beige cheers T

i got a 82 ke70 flat front 4k, I'm 100% sure my gearbox was changed to a earlier 5speed one since they cut the hole foward about 2-3 inch ( correct me if I'm wrong but early GB were shorter?) but anyway I'm not sure if the diff has been changed aswell but its a 3.89 ratio build plate shows model:ke70-e-kdfa engine:4kc-1290-ml frame:ke70-e-9720919 color/trim: jv (yay beige!) ua (guessing poo brown?) built jun 82 if any1 can decode this would be great cheers T
