    hiya james, over here on the east coast there are places where you can get your dash pad reconditioned, although not cheap, and yes, a 55 dash will fit providing you change everything over.

    in my opinion you've done the minor tasteful mods, good work, a car doesnt need to go fast to enjoy. at least there isnt any rust, time will give you to save the $$$ for a paint job, just going to keep it the factory colour? Its up to you with your wheels, they aren't the hardest wheel to come across.

    Spotted a brown, either 35 or 55 hardtop on beerburrum road, just before elimbah the other arvo, young p plate driver, looked fairly tidy.

    id be running it, if not the box performs sluggish overall, the kick down regulates the oil drive pressure, so better take off, put the foot down, it kicks back. without the kick down it holds out for as long as it can in gear. Pretty much it gives your box LIFE! :yes:

    Tis very sad, just a question, what are the chassis rails like? Other than that it looks to be repairable with the help of a rusty donor car.

    The grille is an update/late ke30 grille, pretty much a straight swap, all you have to do is find some ke30 headlight holders, as they are more shallow than the ke55 ones.

    you might be pushing it for clearance with the front struts with the +21 offset, best thing to do is just give one of the wheels a test fit?
