Yeah not a bad deal at all. Just a daily driver. Want to change the wheels as the stocko ones are hidious IMO. Just something cheap but presentable. This will be my daily when the 25 is finished aswell. So i don't have to worry as much about having to leave the 25 anywhere unsafe. The 25 is going to be getting a strip down rebuild starting in the next few months hopefully.

Its Still an acheivement for me. I'm Proud that 3 are corolla's and all 4 are toyota's. In total ive HAD 6 cars. All in the space of 1.5 years.

Well i just got another daily corolla today. AE82 Twinky, So sign me up. Will have to work out where to meet up, or come down a day early or something.

Hey all. After my KE25 rego ran out, i registered a celica to drive around. Got sick of that fairly quick, so i was searching again. Saw an ae82 twinky for sale (In Town, So much more appealing) so i just had to have a look. Went and had a look, and a drive. Was very happy with it, after a quick rust check and general look over decided to buy it. He was asking 1600, but i just asked what would he be willing to take. So i ended up paying $1000. Original good condition, hasnt been Molested for wheels, stereo etc. Interior is still in nice condition. White Paint (had a 50% chance of getting this colour anyway ;)) Will get some pics of it tomorrow. Might even whack it up on the hoist if i get a chance. Cheers Jake

Have to agree with you there. Try that speed in a standard ae71 (suspension and all). With spiders, leaves etc coming out the air vents. Anyone else keen for a run?

well i ran my ae71 in the supersprint a while back and it has rust holes in the wheel arches that i can fit my hand through. as long as its not structural all should be ok.

Hey all. End of this month the Bathurst Light Car Club are holding a supersprint and Hillclimb over the saturday and sunday (30th and 31st August) At Mt Panorama. All you need to enter is to be a member of a car club and hold a CAMS L2S (Level 2 Speed) License. (you MAY be able to do all this on the day) If you wanted to join the Light Car Club The Cost Is $50 for an adult, $20 for a junior. There are 2 cars running at one time unless you would prefer to go by yourself and then this can be arranged (if you are worried about paint transfer). The esses Hillclimb starts at the Bathurst Light Car Club, Club Rooms and goes opposite to race direction up the esses and finishes at "brocks skyline". This is all individually run so all you have to worry about is those pesky walls. Would be nice to see a few rolla's getting out and about on track. I unfortunatelly wont be in a Rolla as both of my rolla's are slow...i will be racing in the supersprint only, under a toyota badge still of course (ST162 Celica). Who's Keen?

I took a scren shot of it but can't upload it but i have since figured the problem. The zoom function changed itself halfway down a page. don't ask me how, the top half was normal the bottom half was at 90% zoom. sorry to clog the thread.

I have the go to last unread problem too. I'm using IE, and it has happened on 2 different PC's under my login (both using IE). On a side note, i actually managed to get my hands on a rollaclub Beanie. I'm proud to wear it.

Hey mate. Instead of doing that, just put the gear shifter into the gearbox the opposite way so it bends forwards instead of backwards. then it shouldnt sit above the handbrake.

Upon waking up this morning, i look outside, the sun is shining slight breeze. i say to myself, what a nice day. Go up to mount panorama to watch the racing for a bit before i play hockey. the wind picks up a bit more but still a nice day...i was looking forward to hockey. leaving the mount, drops of rain on my windscreen. Enjoyment disappearing. Get to hockey and its pissing down and the wind is bitterly cold. My hands were literally blue before the game even started. was not a fun 70 minutes of my day, but we won 7-0 so thats a plus. And thats my story.

Yeah Scott....your previous comment (the one you quoted) is the main reason for saying don't flame me...But the fact of the matter is....I can't fix half the things that need it due to having to have it on the road the next day, funds arent really a problem as its not all happening at the same time, I'm working 2 jobs, and I'm going to be doing bits and peices at a time. I WOULDNT DREAM OF SCRAPPING IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or even selling it. I am going to be very motivated to do this, I love my ke25 and i will miss driving it every day i don't. My timeline is to have at least all the bodywork, paint, interior done within 1 year max. I'm not out to have all genuine parts as that would just hold me up and they are too hard to find (rather other people with more quality builds to have them) ....engine choice/install may take longer as i would like to build the engine so i know its going to be ok. Corolla's...In order to save them they need to spend some time in recovery. Thats the way i look at it anyways Cheers Jake

I ran my ke25's tank past the E once, still only took about 36-37L so i assumed it was a 40L tank.
