KE70-from-mt-panorama

I work with him so he was nice to me...Its kinda like promotional shots, he did them for free. but i said he can use them to show potential customers some of his work. So that was good. I don't know how much he charges for his work though. But if anyones interested i can enquire. These are the low-res photo's. The weather didnt help much either but adds something to the photo's.

got pro photo's taken of my car for the calander. turned out good i think.

I got a couple of photo's off my phone of the cars that turned up (Original and SR_Rolla's cars). and then some of my car with SR_Rolla's ke70. Not of a quality to put into the calander but ill post all the same.

Oh and i had it in sydney the day before the NSW rollaclub calander photoshoot. went out clubbing that night and came back out to find my car had a bent front bumper. someone has hit my car and not cared or left a note to say they hit it. Pisses me off. So i have removed the bumper to stop it scratching up my front apron any more than it already is. Will look for a good condition bumper when i can afford it.

hey all. might be racing this in the supersprint on the weekend. Conrod to start/finsh on mt panorama. So i changed the front shocks on it and cut 1 coil off the fronts it sits more level with the back now. I will be upgrading the suspension properly at some stage so i don't mind having cuts up front for now. Plus when the car is jacked up they don't pop out. they just don't sit in the spring seat firm. will get pictures but it doesnt look much different to how it was.

EPIC FAIL!!!!!!!! You have no center caps on your rims. Please correct this and i shall retract my comment. Just kidding, its not an epic fail, but a car of this quality requires finishing off. can't leave anything "not quite done"

I used to work in a plastic factory, making dog bowls, frisbees, mainly pet products but planty of other stuff. One of the machies was leaking lots of molten plastic (last week of the factory being open so no point trying to fix it) was using s screwdriver to clear the plastic away, my hand went under the barrel of the machine and a bit of plastic dripped onto my hand...300 degree's hurts. And it stuck to my hand. It was only a small bit so it cooled very quick which was lucky. I have a burn on my wrist from when i was 12 or so, prob 3cm x 2cm. Fell off a blade scooter at around 20-25kph (at a guess) and slid along the road for a good while. get lots of people asking what happened but its not all that exciting and i can't think of anything. i have a scar down the whole length of my right middle finger where a mates dog bit me (one of 2 people he has bit and the one b4 me was chasing the dog around drunk). I have had moles removed from my back, one on my shoulderblade so it stretched really bad and looks really big. Then just normal scratches from pets here and there.

I wont be down for the Group photo re-shoot. Ill just get my workmate to take some photo's for me. Mt Panorama scenic enough? (he is a professional photographer by the way)

Hey guys, Has or did anyone turn up? There are 2 cars here. FBC's KE70 and Original's KE35. My KE25 got crashed into last night while it was parked, no note (big surprise) We are at palm beach now havent seen anyone else getting around at all. We are just going to take photo's of the 2 cars we have seeing as how we are all the way here. Would have been nice to hear from someone on here Whether or not people were turning up.

Wouldnt doing burnouts be classed as illegal aswell redwarf? So its not really getting into the realms of illegality, its just adding to the severity of the illegality IMO.

Thanks queen20v, i fought that at court and got off so all good. and Tally, next is rego, then just daily drive duties spening a bit of money on her now and then, may install my NOS dash pad but i want to wait till it gets its te27 rebuild before i put it in. I guess ill just wait and see how long before it pisses me off. I wouldnt mind some new shoes for her though. the ones on here are a bit dodgy. Clearcoat is a bit crazed and lifting and it just looks bad. and the front right has had the clearcoat removed scratching the chrome in the process. But they look good when ur not up close. I may lower it a tad still. Cheers Jake

I'm still failing to see anything about the power increase in writing though. I'm reading the "guidelines for vehicle modifications" article on the RTA website. Guidelines for Vehicle Modifications RTA NSW I did hear the power increase information off a mechanic (my mates boss) who does LOTS of engine changes and modifications for drag cars and high performance street cars, mainly v8's. But I'm going to keep researching this aswell, try to get some definate answers

Its Both. The capacity can't be changed by more than 15% in NSW, which is what everyone hears and thinks great, ae71 already has 1.6, ill go 4age. But the power increase has to be within the maximum allowed increase (unsure of the figure but may be 15% also). But with this, some shops will let you change the engine number of an ae71 to the 4age number without engineering, just gotta pick where you take it.

If your going to pubs you will need more than 100. Drinking at home is cheaper but not as fun. When you first start going out you survive on 50-70 at the pubs, but very quickly moves up to 200+ for a night on the town. My OMG is how much better the front end of my car looks now i actually painted all the grill, bonnet trim, etc. didnt think it would make it this much better.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA.... what brightens my day, The thought that in a few days my car will be back on the road.

I will be coming down Pending cars rego. If i can get it done in time I'm there. Booking it in for blue slip this week. If i don't have the money to rego it in time ill beg borrow or steal. I want my car in the group shot.

The rear looks sweet, But the front doesnt seem to suit the quads. Side is good too. Keep us updated, this cars sweet.
