  2. There is one rule that does apply to fender mirrors... They MUST be actual fender mirrors not door mirrors.. otherwise the JDM police will NOT hesitate to pull you over and laugh at you... NO JOKE!

  6. yeah the car been off the road for about 2 months.. shld be running this wkend... 15's are the biggest wheels i will ever run on a ke.. 15's allow me to crank an abundance of castor.. any wheels ;arger than a 15" look wak on a 70.. my opinion anyway..

  8. nah no lsd's for the borg warner ke diffs.. lockers are fine, just be prepared to replace them if u go either ca or sr..
  9. lights look good man, i get mine next week. your car looks granny as man, it doesnt scream for attention... get some decent wheels yo! how much of the lower valance did you have to cut inorder to fit the lights...?
  10. lol welding a diff is the cheap alternative to the 2 way.. your gonna want atleast a lsd if you have decent power.. my last diff got really whinny.. it took a little while for it to get annoyingly loud but its not hard to replace them.. nothing wrong with a locker.. open wheeled diffs with a powerful car is stupid and dangerous...your car behaves like an unpredictable little school girl on meth.!!
  11. use rb20 rubber mounts on the ke cross member... the shifter sits alot further back than the existing 4k one so you will have to cut a little area to allow for that.. no biggy you can use the standard diff but you will have to get your tailshaft cut to length and balanced... i have a standard locked diff in mine, ive replaced only one so far in around 6 months... you may aswell go to a t series diff while everything is being don.. they are alot stronger and lsd centres are available for them...
  12. if i did get a 4age what would be the approx price of getting it all in there? FFS it all depends on what you can do yourself and obtain yourself.. HOW LONG IS A PIECE OF STRING! If you can answer that someone can tell you the cost of the conversion... too many people ask this question.. how much to do the 4age conv.. do some friggin research, get some quotes...

  14. 4age 16v is bolt in with very little cutting/drilling required. SR20 would require custom engine mounts and gearbox mount. CA18 is in the same boat as SR20 mounts wise etc. all these engines will require cutting and driling if transfered into a KE.. the clutch setup has to be changed to hydro RB engine mounts make ca sr swap a breeze... nissan motors FTW!
  15. i have a CA18det in my ke70, conversion is more challenging but can be done on a tight budget.. I have a mate who has a sr20det in his ke, same shit as the CA really.. THESE TWO MOTORS DO NOT UPSET THE BALANCE OF THE CAR FFS!!!!! DO YOUR RESEARCH!!! The 4age is an old over priced motor with expensive parts and very limited power on a budget.. its an easy conversion but why go to all that effort for a slow motor when u can easily spend the same ammount of money on the more powerful nissan motors.. cheaper more powerful nissan motors have my vote.. my2c
