If I run 5k rocker gear on the 4k head, and 5k pushrods, will that work?

Hey I know this sounds stoopid, but I have a spare 4k head gasket and was wondering if its ok to use on a 5k? is there any difference?

Do 4k exhaust and inlet manifolds fit 5k heads?

I discovered that recently, but Is there anyway the 4k head can still be run? the guy I bought the block off told me I could, was he talking shit?

Hey fellas, wondering if anyone can help me with this.I've got a 5k block and have put a 4k head on it (all recond) and have got it to run, but the tappets are really noisy and I can't work it out.The 5k block is the domed piston type (I hear there is also one with flat tops?) and I've got both 4k and 5k pushrods but am running the longer of the two types at the moment. I'm new to corollas and any help would be much appreciated, cheers
