STOLEN!!!!! THis car was stolen from Algester on Thursday 9/8. If anyone see's this car or any of it's parts around please let me know. This car has had a lot of time and money spent on it!!! Not HAPPY!!!

Put the corolla on the Dyno yesterday at CNJ Motorsport in Brisbane. The beast is now putting out 224.7 rwkw on 16psi. (302rwhp I think) This was done on a Dyno Dynamics Dynometer. The car is still running safe and injectors aren't maxed out yet. The turbo has plenty to go. I will try get the dyno sheet up soon. Very Happy!!!

Took it out to Willowbank last night and ran a new PB of 12.20 at 114mph. Wont be able to get any quicker on those street tyres as it nows fries them in third gear. Next time I go out I will have to put the slicks on. Was hoping to do a flat 12 on the 205x60x15's but traction is becoming a problem now. Also, thinking of converting to an auto as the gear box is on they way out. If anyone has a CA auto box they want to get rid of please let me know. Cheers, Shanon.

Did a 12.3 @ 115mph last night at willowbank. With a little more boost and some slicks I should crack 11's.

Yeah mate sounds good. Looks like I will be heading out to Willowbank on Wednesday the 27/6. I want to give it a go with this nice cold air!! Want to do a low 12 pass before I put the M/T Slicks on!!

Ended up with a best time of 12.57 @ 113mph on street tyres. Blew the head gasket. Replaced the head gasket on the weekend with a metal COMETIC one. Now the clutch is slipping. Will have to replace that this weekend. The joy of cars..........

Is any one else heading out to BC drag day at Willowbank April 15? Should be a good day. Fitting an EBC this week so should control boost better and improve power and response.

Had the corolla tuned on Friday at Mazfix. It is currently putting out 260hp at the wheels. A little less than expected but still a good result. The Turbo Smart Tee piece is leaking off boost in the lower gears and is only running on about 11 PSI. Once the boost leak gets fixed it should get a couple more HP. Still on track for going out to Willowbank T&T on Sat 24/2/07. Thanks for the offer for the slicks ("ca18rolla") but this time will run on street tyres. I need to make up some tramp rods and won't get a chance before Sat night. The car has Nissan 4 stud wheels on it atm 4X114.3. Hope to see you there!!

As far as I am aware the CA18 and CA20 gear boxes are the same. The CA20 boxes are a bit cheaper and are more readily available as they came out of an Aust sold car. Hopefully will get out to willowbank on the 24th of feb weather and car permitting/.

Hey mate, Yes I am planning on heading back out to Willowbank within the next couple of weeks. On the weekend I put a bigger turbo on the car t3/t4 (600hp) with an external wastegate. Injectors and fuel pump may need to be upgraded I have some 600cc ones if needed. This will need to be retuned. Hopefully I will get time to do that by the end of next week. Currently, the car does not get too much wheel spin on the 195's with a good burn out to warm up the tyres. However the tyres are quite soft. I would be interested in catching up with any one with turbo rollas at Willowbank. I will let you know next time I will be heading out. I will get some pics up of the new turbo, wastegate and dump pipe installationwhen i get some time.

Yes that time was on std street tyres 195x55x 15inch. I do have some MT Slicks to put on it but need to make some tramp rods first. The car did launch pretty good with minimal wheel spin at this stage. However, when the new turbo goes on traction may be a problem.

Took it out to Willowbank on Saturday night it ran a 13.4 at 104mph. Not fast enough yet!!! Its time for some more power to get it into 12's.

Car: 1976 Ke30 Corolla Sedan Engine: Ca18det Gearbox: Ca20 5 speed (Pintara) - soon to be auto Diff: Borg Warner Pintara with Ford Xr6 Centre and 3inch tail shaft with racing uni joints Brakes: Front = RA40 Celica front discs and calipers with KE30 strut tops Rear = Pintara Discs Master Cylinder = Pajero Clutch: Extreme Heavy Duty clutch kit Turbo: t3/t4 Wastegate: Turbosmart 38mm street gate - screamer Boost Controller: Greddy Profec B (electronic) ECU: Microtec Injectors: RB26DETT GTR 440cc (I think) Exhaust: 3inch with hi-flow cat Wheels: 15inch nissan TRX Wheels There are plenty more extra's on this little beast such as FMIC, BOV, Bosch coil packs, braided lines, thermo fan, 500hp bosch fuel pump with lift pump and surge tank, Autometer Gauges(boost,oil temp, oil press, water temp) and plenty more bits and pieces. The car is currently running in a rebuilt engine. Before the last one died it had 209hp atw and ran a 13.7 at 107mph on street tyres. A new t3/t4 turbo, external gate and 600cc injectors are ready to be bolted on and retuned as soon as the new engine is ready for the dramatic increase in power.
