Well a couple of weeks ago i finally got off my arse and got an exhaust :wink: I've got 2" Wildcat extractors and pipe to a hotdog and lukey rear muffler with a 3" dump tip, Also decided it was time for a ramflo filter :y: Cheers Trent, Btw does anybody have any pics of any Ke30/Ke55's with supra rims the early ones?

Ok I have been through a couple of tissue boxes already so i'll get to the point, Me and Brad went down to Maccas this morning for something to eat and as we were driving out, we saw in the carpark a absolute overrated KE10 Panel Van these are (KE16's or something correct?) It's the first one i've ever seen and beside it were 2 KE15 sprinters 1 was absolute stock cream colour with a Grandpa hat on the rear parcel shelf and another phat looking KE15 with deep dish jap rims canary yellow and big exhaust, Anyone know who these people are, because i've never seen them in town before and i think they may have been driving through? Rob, I think it must be just surface rust around the fuel filler neck but the left hand light looks pretty severe, These things are rust collectors they all rust in the same spots lol. Cheers

So yeah as you can see the 4K is a little rooted :jamie:, BHG and then they have burned out the starter motor trying to start it again. Head looks ok though havn't had a look at the bottem end yet, As for the AE71 i'am still toying with the idea of buying it, as i can see it has rust in the fuel filler cap region and the rear left taillight, is this rust easy to fix? I personally think flashlube is a waste of time as these have hardened valve seats... I just run my 3K on Bp Ultimate with no additives and timing on 10 deg

Heya well on the way out to our block of land (where our Toyota's reside), When i saw this AE71 Corolla for sale on the side of the road for $300 it had CS-X on the back of it and to my knowledge this is the top model corolla is it not? It had a tacho dash and 5 speed and the works and looked in reasonably nick with no rego, i was wondering was this a bargain? :jamie: What other goodies did this model come with? Cheers Trent

I went and had a look at a KE70 wagon that was for sale last night and it had a dirty old 4k and original air con unit installed! :locked:

Lol fair enough, Get the 4A-C all setup and when you get some money just slot a 4AG in it.

I think he meant a 4A-C lol, why not just stick a 5K or something in it?

Got the wagon this afternoon, It's got a 4K and a standard 5 Speed :P Body has rust all through it, some interior stuff may be salvagable. By the way, Are KE70 wagon diffs the same as sedan diffs? Cheers Trent, Ill get some pics of the monster this weekend

What is it just a 3T? Not a 3tgte or anything? Drop a 2T-G in it, the engine mounts should be the same?

Heya Thomo, To get rid of the hydrolic lifters you use datsun 1200 pushrods and holden red motor lifters.

If your taking the head into get surface ground, they should clean the head up for you, at least that's what we do, At work we have a spraywash bin (that we manufacture as well), for all alloy stuff, cleans heads and anything alloy pretty good.

That's the first grille i've seen like that, i thought they all had slates in them like mine

That 2nd grille is good, like the way the slates have been cut out and mesh put in looks good
