Hey guys I'm bout to go on a bit of a road trip in me KE55, it does get rather hot sometimes so thought i'd play it safe and get a aftermarket temp gauge, i was browsing for some and came across mechanical and electrical, can somebody tell me which is easier and more accurate to adapt to a 4K. thanks trent

Hey Guys, Scored meself a free KE70 on the weekend with a running 4K and to my surprise a working 5spd!, Now i already have a 5Spd in my KE30 but it is a KE55 one so it didn't need any modding. I have a 4K 81 KE55 4Spd i want to try put this 5 banger in. I know that the extension housing sits a little further back with the KE70 5spd box, my question is will i still be able to use my centre console with the gearshifter in relatively the same position or is it a further back?, Cheers Fellows

Hey mate, what sort of rear leaf spring bushes are you using? i could only get nolathane ones of the little eyes, repco told me they couldn't get ones big enough for the large eyes?? Sweet Rolla though man gives me alot of motorvation to get mine up and running.. Trent

Hey guys I'm starting my hydraulic clutch conversion in my KE30, I have got a TA22 clutch cylinder, Now the question is it better using a TA22 Pedal box or modifying the KE30 one? Cheers

Cheers phatke30!, I will get under the car tomorrow and check it out, the guy before me used to tow alot of stuff with it so I'm guessing the driveline may have had a hard life, In regards to my tailshaft, i work at an engineering/engine reconditioning place, and i had them balance and put new uni's in the tailshaft about 1 month ago, I just pulled it out and didn't realise about putting it in the same way, Cheers Guys! ;)

Oh okay Col, that might be it, cause i did have the tailshaft out, i recently put a new standard exhaust on it myself and it ain't touching anywhere, will check my driveline mounts see if there tight, nah Trev they havn't they are just standard KE30 steelies, they were fine on my other KE30? thanks guys much appreciated! :-) Cheers Trent

hey guys, got another problem i discovered yesterday when driving, it gets a real bad vibration when you go 80 upwards? i have had the tailshaft fully balanced and new uni joints put in?, anything else it could be? Cheers Trent

hey guys got my rolla registered this morning filled it to the brim and went for a drive, then i smelt fuel so i went home and had a look and fuel is pissing out of the fuel sender where it sits in the top of the tank, i was wondering is it supposed to have a o ring or gasket it sits on? i have taken it off and bashed it into the holes with a long screwdriver and hammer but it still leaks.. Bit of a late update, It's nearly KE30 spec lol It passed blue slip last week with only Front uni being the fault, bought a new one the same day and put it in at work! :cool: Also got some venetians, new complete exhaust system, and some KE30 bumper bars for it, i have had quite alot of comments about the car and how well she looked! :) Also got some personalised plates for it coming next week OKE-550! anyhoo here's some recent piccies, Let me know what you think.. cheers trent!

Really?, I was going to try some pedders shocks anyway, cause my mate gets them for trade price at his work.. I'am pulling the car off the road soon and replacing every single seal, rubber etc in the car hehe :D Thanks RD for your help, Trent

Not sure, I took all the struts out and just took them in to get fitted, the bump stops might be worn out, i'm pulling the struts out soon so i'll let you know man, Cheers for you help guys :D Trent

Yeah It's just a standard KE30 with superlow springs (50mm) and new monroe GT gas shockies.. I didn't touch anything else..

Okay, I took the car to a suspension place today, and he said that the struts are f@$ked, How did everybody else lower the front of there KE30 and not get f@$ked shocks? Cheers Trent
