  1. Yes, T series diffs are longer and need a shorter driveshaft. Check your driveshaft flange if it fits the T diff  If not, find one that does before you shorten..
  2. Have driven gen1 to 12 and owned gen1,2,3,4 and a 8. KE1#`s rule
  3. could be these.. http://koni-uk.com/detprod.asp?ProductCode...&PID=823471
  4. What I see in the pic is a 20w 60 oil and a 90sae grade oil Not a 40w and 80w90 oil like what was mentioned in the other post. As for annoying you .. realy trying to care Just tried to show that motor and gear oilgrades can't be directly compared on viscosity going by the W numbers, and put up link to if you wanted to compare you could. Theres a chart for comparing hydraulic oil viscosity as well.
  5. 75 w gear oil is about the same viscosity as 10 w motor oil http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/cms/index.ph...8&Itemid=55
  6. looks like a triblade bearing scraper you got there but yea, can easily be mistaken for a wheelwell drainer :P wouldnt bother fixing unless otherwise overrated. Cleaning and JB Weld would probably do the trick
  7. belive the yanks nickname these baiby supras
  8. Belive some are. Check number of dowels for the clutch pressureplate (2 or 3) Think there was a change around 72` Not sure though
  9. Pre 82 T- t50 like you want to use got smaler input bearing so you need a spacer to center it in the 4A-t50 bell. Should find some info on it if you search as its been mentioned a few times :)
  10. Allways, anything else is pointless 3kh ke35 6L /100k open roads, 7L mixed 4k kp61 6.5L/100k open, 8L mixed but drive it harder. My gas is probably cooler than yours so I get more bang for buck :jamie:
  11. I like the brembo disc catalog as it has the measurements listed as well as partnumbers http://bremboaftermarket.com/En/Car_Disc_C...rchIsFront=True These would be for jap style brakes
  12. Thats great info Pete. No, Toyota isnt the source. They threw out stuff like this ages ago. Some parts however were rescued by a guy Ive been in contact with. All red (exept reverselight) lenses would look good but don't think they would pass roadworthy test. Especially if only one. Not 100% sure if both would pass.. Would however be very interested in a pair of decent chrome surrounds for them though.. Again, thanks - made my day
  13. Toyota Norway have ditched their Ke1x partscatalogs :jamie: so would realy apreciate if anyone could post the partsnumber for the rear handbrakecable. Belive they are the same for both sides. May have a source for new ones if I had the number. Cheers, Tor.
  14. make a cradle to rotate it in and measure it, then youll know what youve got
  15. Got one of those in the 4runner . Reliable solid torquy thing :P Old style pump so consumption is about 10L /100Km on average [/img] Uploaded with ImageShack.us
  16. Blockheight and sump bolt pattern are easy ID signs of 3k <>4k
  17. Listing is for slotted , not vented. Will probably be an upgrade but unless you realy want to keep the 12" wheels, for a K powered car Id rather look for some ke3x ,5x ,or7x discs and calipers witch are slightly larger and would be better than those 200mm items You would need 13" wheels for them though
  18. Good news. Any figures from the last dyno?
  19. sorted - looks to be the same as early kp3x http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/p_E_1969_TOYO..._KP30_4706.html
  20. Yea ,5k blocks are taller than 3ks so exhaust manifolds end up higher and exhaust pipe closer to the floor
  21. Should line up if you use the 3k engine mounts. T50 crossmembers use those rear holes..
  22. Heres how its wired in the Starlets http://www.esgarage.com/02kp61/starlet_dat...t_data.htm#elec
  23. Anyone got a pic?
  24. + they`re the right width for ke3/5 don't know how wide the T18s are?
  25. Thanks, Its got 200mm discs at the front. Single cuircut setup so will be getting a small upgrade that end.
