Hey Cam, what I was gonna do when I had it was put in a mild cam of some sort, put on a 32/36 weber I had lying around, extractors, 2 inch exhaust, and do 4-speed manual conversion. That would make a very notable change to the power and feel of the car without spending too much. Ben

haha yeah, post the other pic then. Was good fun being in the run indeed, had a few old guys congratulate me for keeping it so tidy, and just for having it there, and many younger guys doing the same and wanting to know the details. Will definitely enter it in the next one in 2009, all finished rotor and all.

Damn, sorry I couldnt make it, but I was getting it ready yesterday for Bay to Birdwood today, and up until 9:30 I had no front carpet in, wires everywhere etc, I will definitely be at the next one though. Off topic, anyone know the guy who owns the orange/brown KE20 (71/72 model) that was at Bay to Birdwood today, had black 14" stockies, whitewalls, sunshade, venetians, arse slammed, and interior looked minter as. Well the stickers are now off the rear window (except the rollaclub one of course), venetians should be here by Monday hopefully and the back will be slammed another 2 inches hopefully next Wednesday. I'm now looking for a few parts just to finish off the looks: -standard 3k air filter and box (for the 3k carby) -RAA grille badge -original front seats -original gear boot -minta door trims the same colour as my interior (mine have few small tears about 10mm long on the undersides) -AutoMeter 5 inch tacho and shift light (to be mounted under the dash to replace the poxy steering column mounted one) -minta steering coloumn plastic trim Then I'm also on the lookout for parts for the rotor conversion such as crossmembers, etc. Thanks, Ben

I got bored today so decided to drive around the hood yo and take some photos. Next week will have ivory venetians and the back will be dumped 2 inches And its now got the 3K carby, hopefully next year she'll be off the road, and getting the rotor set up (13B bridgeport). but don't worry she'll be stayin like this, visually.
