  1. Yeh I thought that the 4k and 5k were the same. It was originally manual, so smaller tunnel. Yeh I would be running a 5 speed, not a big fan of the 4 speeds. engine would be rebuilt, just a mild cruiser really with a bit of go, mild cam etc. Diff wise I'd be going with something like a 4.11:1 or similar. Cheers, Ben.
  2. I have to disagree and I know at least a few will agree with me.... I am a big fan of the jdm style old school toyotas etc like in Ravens avatar, but how is an old school Corolla, say a KE11 or KE20 in condition better than new, fully restored back to original, slammed on whitewalls, with venetians and sunvisor not eye catching. The amount of looks my old KE20 got was proof enough, and that wasn't what I'd call overrated. As you say though, each to their own. Imagine how boring it'd be if everyone drove around in stock VN Commodores  Cheers, Ben.
  3. hot! I love the jdm style old celicas ay. Will look mad with the new rims, gonna go flares too? they're some pretty nice offset rims. Love the racing jacket too! :S Cheers, Ben.
  4. I wouldn't exactly call it grandma spec, but it looks good dude. :) Different to most KE20s. Must go good with the 5k. whitewalls would look good on her. You sure the rear is lowered 2 inches? Looks almost standard, I've just put 1.5 inch blocks in the rear of my 20 and its much lower than that... As for the esky Scott I'd say maybe rolled going by his sig. :S Cheers, Ben.
  5. Yeah its stock 4 speed. Didn't really wanna go cutting and drilling shit in it, cos its way original. How much further back would the 5speed shifter sit? how much would need to be cut out? Would a 5k be much bigger than a 4k? I would've thought they'd be pretty much the same. Cheers, Ben.
  6. Sounds good Scotty, hopefully my new Rolla is here by then, and can get some stuff done to it. Count me in. Cheers, Ben.
  7. Hey guys, just wondering what is involved in fitting a 5k and 5-speed to a ke10/11? Cheers, Ben.
  8. This is looking very tidy ay. I have to agree with the phat man, a mild 4k would do quite well, especially with twin webers. I had just a 32/36 on my mild 4k in my old Ke20 and that went quite well, beat my mates VN commo.. Cheers, Ben.
  9. Ahk Cheers Henry. Meh the cheap price justifies the hassle. Cheers, Ben.
  10. Hmm interesting... One side is flat, which I'm guessing is the side that is supposed to be stuck down, while the other side is the 'seal'. :D Cheers, Ben.
  11. For a KE70 I'd be gettin some 15x8 -9s :D 15x8 +/-0s will fit fine with some 'light' guard mods (read some work with a pole lol) with 195/50s. My mate Asher has some 14x7 -6 on his 71, and that required very little attention with mentioned pole.. Cheers, Ben.
  12. Yeah Ryan, was around $40 and $10 postage. off ebay. Cheers, Ben.
  13. Hey guys, another question from Ben.. I have bought a new boot seal from Phils Rotaries and Fast Fours for my 20, my question is how do I fit it? As in, like I obviously need to use some sort of adhesive ayy.. All help appreciated. Cheers, Ben.
  14. Anyone know if a ke20 sunvisor will fit a ke10/11? Or anyone know where I can find a overrated mesh style sinvisor? Tried autocables but they don't seem to list one for ke10/11. Cheers, Ben.

    Tom's Ke70

I reckon the black looks sweet Tom. :D Usually I hate black stockies with on ke70's, as it makes them look like 'wannabe drifters' but that actually looks really neat. Leave em black mate, with the whitewalls will looks shmick, verrry verry neat KE70. :) Cheers, Ben.
  16. Oh shit sorry Smeets..you don't have the brackets. In that case I have no idea. Got a pics of the visor? I'm fairly sure on the part you're missing, but a pic would clear that up ay Cheers, Ben.
  17. Hey Will, you have to drill the holes through the gutter and screw it on mate.. Whats the visor like? nice and shiny still? Needs walls and slammage tho.. Cheers, Ben.
  18. Thanks Philbey, fixed all that last week tho :hmm: There happened to be two spare fuses clipped in the fuse box cover, and the window is dixed aswell. Cheers, Ben.
  19. Looks sweet Will, still very clean. With whitewalls, visor and the rear dropped a little she'll look overrated! I may have some lowering blocks you can buy, if I don't end up fitting them to mine before I sell it. Cheers, Ben.
  20. Yeh I got 1 on my KE20, but I don't know the measurements of a KE10/11.. Cheers, Ben.
  21. HA! Anyone know? Che ears, Ben
  22. Hey just wondering, and I'm guessing it won't, but will a sunvisor from a KE20 fit a KE10/11? Cheers, Ben.
  23. Yeah I was gonna chuck my SIK020 plates on, Hopefully I can get it slammed sometime this week, when its not raining. I won't regret selling it too much, the new one is alot better than this or my old white one. The next one will be getting the same, slammed, whitewalls, sunvisor, venetians, decent stezza, a mild 5K and 5 spd at some stage. Cheers, Ben.
  24. Haydo that looks sweet! I'd leave the back as is tho, looks mad.. I'll have to get u round when I need help :POSTPICS!: I agree with Scott too, the 12s are mad, chuck some new B80 155/80s with 1 inch whitewalls. Guess we'll see what these 14s look like then, you keeping the centre caps on? Cheers, Ben.
