  2. Hellaflush bro
  3. Might not want to talk about plate swapping on a public forum dude. It's illegal :(
  4. LOL I'm pretty sure that's not correct

Just guessing this may be my old rig. Mitch lives out that way
  7. This guy knows what's up. Pretty much sums up my thinking Philbey! Traditional hot rods were built to be the fastest car the owner could afford. Most of the cash had gone towards the driveline, with little to none left (at that stage) to repair/paint the body. This is why they usually had original worn paint (patina), or primed in flat black. They were unfinished!!! "Rat rod" has become such a 'trend' lately, the original hot rodders of the 40s and 50s would be finding it quite amusing.
  8. Personally I would be keeping it similar to what it is now. Less is more Like you say though, If you're not building to your own vision what's the point? 9.5s and 10.5s will be interesting
  9. Wow! I dig this alot. I was not a fan of your old KE70 at all and kind of expected this to end up similar. I am happily surprised
  10. I love this car. But you know that :bash:
  11. buuuuuump Need this gone so I can pick up my new daily. $2200 with Longchamps or $1700 with stockies.
  12. Oh fair enough, steering wheel was good price. I had a pair of overrated (and actually overrated) KE70 taillights I sold for $40 a few months back.
  13. I enjoy this KE11!!! <3
  14. Congrats with the sale, couldn't have worked out better for you. Holly bat hell though! you paid $140 for an AE71 steering wheel and $140 for taillights!!!
  15. ahaha Luke if you do this properly this will be the best looking KE20 in Aus. edit: you have a KE30 door mirror? If you want a KE20 item I have a overrated one I'd seeell you

Was this actually in the Tafe or driving past? Could've been my younger sisters car driven by my mother. Just remembered I spotted Nickyboys KE11 parked at his work on Saturday arvo around 1:30pm. So so good man!
  17. Its an '86 GN Sigma GL station-wagon, pretty much the last of the Sigmas. 206,###km Has:- -2.6-litre Astron motor, very strong and has torque! -5-speed manual -heavy duty clutch -LSD (?) -stock suspension, rear shocks are are slightly worn. will be lower in a week -Sigma lower control arms! -14x6.5 +8 SSR Longchamp fronts, 185/60 Yokohama C-Drive -14x6.5 +/-0 SSR Longchamp rears, 185/60 Yokohama DNA -full set of standard wheels and hubcaps. tyres are useless -roofracks -Pioneer CD player, not wired up I'm keeping my stereo so only stock speakers too I bought it in December, not being told that it had a suspected head/head gasket issue. Since then the head has had three small spots welded up with the head being reconditioned and shaved. Has all new gaskets, new water pump, new thermostat housing, new front main seal, new fan belt. As well as fixing various smaller isues. leaks no fluids Overall its a very clean honest car with no sign of body repairs made. Paint is in good condition, only rust is a small section under the lhs gutter. Very straight except a small dent behind front rhs wheel. Interior is also very clean and comfy. No tears or stains. Features old air conditioning! is missing console lid, and an insert around the radio. pretty minor stuff Great car for a daily, fits my bike and/or work gear in easily and once lowered will pull so much pussy! Yeah! $2400 or near offer Located Modbury area, Adelaide PM me if interested, I'll give you my number
  18. Will try and get some work done to my rig, may enter it. Otherwise I'll be driving up as usual for a look. Cheers, Ben.
  19. 185/60 /End
  20. Are they 13s or 12s? They look like the Globes I had originally had on my old white KE20. They were 12x5 I think haha Looking good mate
  21. Wow Scott. Just wow I haven't seen this in the flesh, but I dare say this would be one of the cleaner KE20's in Aus Pretty envious
  22. 200mm rear springs are as low as I would go if its a daily/street car. As everyone else has said though you haven't really provided any information. If they are stock rear springs, only cut. It's going to be too low If you are wanting to know what height front springs to use, the general rule is the same as the rear, a little lower preferably. When/if I build another KE70 for the street I will be going 210mm 6kg front springs, and 235mm 4.5kg rear springs
  23. I really like this AE71, must be such a good daily. Colour scheme is so so good haha Those Crossfevers suit it so well too
  24. to be fair it was the only orange KE70 there. I was looking for new photos Chobis - I was meaning to come down and say hi all day by the way. I saw you all drive in, but didn't see you at all during the day. Your Stout was amazing as usual, and your KE11 is still so clean.
  25. Any pics of my orange KE70?
