Any engine with cams so extreme cannot have too much restiction in the exhaust And with 304 degree cams which are very large, drivability will be significantly reduced regardless what you think. Then you have to consider the type of clutch and flywheel which would have to be used... Maybe consider smaller cams like 272 degrees if you really have your heart set on using it as a daily. My bet is that after driving it on the road for one day you will never want to daily it lol Cheers, Ben.

Go 308 for sure Depending what you want to use it for consider going auto as well. A worked 308 with a big carby is gonna be an absolute dog to drive in manual form. My dad has a worked 351 with 4-spd Toploader in his XY and is 100% that his next project will be auto just because they are so much nicer to drive Now I just want to see skids... Cheers, Ben.
