Looks alot better mate I think thats a good height for sleeperness, shouldn't have any worries. Cheers, Ben.
-
his old 13x7 Superlights?
-
I was gonna head down in my wagon, just to the meet point no cruise as my sussy is gay. Spent longer than I expected working on car though
-
Sweet! Superlights fill out those flares good now This is looks mega clean, was spotted by a member on ae86dc. They loved it lol Cheers, Ben.
-
Haha the things you do for a photo KE20 is now dirty
-
White KE20 got written off and all the gear reshelled into a green early model KE20. Got any new pics Josh? and where the hell did your girlfriend find that KE26? looks pretty clean and I've never seen one that colour before Cheers, Ben.
-
I'd be putting some lower profile tyres on those stockies as well, they were VK Commodore spec lol Should look sweet when done! I sort of want another KE30 lol Cheers, Ben.
-
That didn't come with the wagon, I bought it ages ago and its been in alot of my cars now, not for sale. You should be able to find a decent second hand Nardi for $150 easily Cheers, Ben.
-
Looks good Dave How are your rear MA61's so flush? I'm running mine with a 5mm slip on (14x7 +3) and they are like 15mm inside the rear guards Cheers, Ben.
-
Holy shit mate, I just had a heart attack. It looks like a minter, lower 4-door version of my old white KE20. This looks seriously overrated, if its still original when you want to sell send it across the ocean to me and I will send you cash...seriously!!! Top ride dude :y:
-
Haha considering taking rear bumper and towbar off when its lowered, I think they looks better without it. I'm happy with the near stock exhaust on it for the moment. I took the tacho dash out of the sedan and put it in the wagon today along with my Nardi. Whats up with wagon/panelvan rear guards. 14x7 +3 is nearly about 15mm from flush new pics are up there Gave it a little stick down a few side streets today and it goes pretty hard for a stock (possibly original 350,000km) 4K. commercials are so much more fun haha Cheers, Ben.
-
So I want for a strap in this car, this morning. Very impressed, its drives very well and goes very very hard for essentially a stock 1.6-litre And that induction sound!!!! :y: :y: I want a 20V in my wagon hahaha Cheers, Ben.
-
Hey Ross got pics of the fog lights? Thinking about putting some on my wagon Hopefully the problem turns out to be an easy fix like thermostat I like this car, the best colour for slant fronts, and looks pretty clean too Cheers, Ben.
-
haha thanks Tom mate It should handle pretty good with the suspension in. Can't wait Hope you find a decent ute soon! Cheers, Ben.
-
Has matching MA61s on the rear now, and I polished the rust off the the chrome gutter trims. Didn't end up swapping axles, dash cluster or steering wheel as I spent most of the day doing the wheels. My fingers are sore from sanding and polishing.. Have most suspension sorted, hopefully I can have it all here, together and installed next weekend for the Toyota cruise Should handle nicely for a leaf-sprung wagon :y: Cheers, Ben.

Read the post. Fix a few things, get it low on some decent suspension, mild 14s, daily Yes they do and there is a fair amount of room in the back actually Yeah wagons and panelvans are definitely hard to find in clean original condition. I managed to get this pretty cheap and its clean enough to drive around. This will definitely remain alot more street friendly than my sedan, it won't be so low and wheels will not be out guards on this This will not be getting 4age lol, but yeah come over man Taking rhs axle out of sedan today (had new wheel bearings) and putting in wagon, and installing tacho dash and Nardi Cheers, Ben.
-
Yeah he was telling me about his other wagon as well. I am actually sort of interested in the one he's selling, I remember seeing pics on ausrotary ages ago and it is indeed very clean and original. They are one car I have always wanted Haha yeah he was a pretty cool guy, had a chat for quite a while Cheers, Ben.

Well I decided to sell my beige sedan and most of my parts and just buy a better car to skid, most likely nissan. Meanwhile I was looking for a cheap daily Ended up buying this wagon very cheap off "TOM", great guy to deal with Plans are to get it low in some decent handling suspension, 'mild but flush with stock guards' 14s, and just daily it pretty much Specs 1984 KE70 Corolla S station wagon Engine: Stock 4K, small exhaust which sounds ok Gearbox: K50 5-speed, Xtreme heavy-duty clutch Brakes: stock Suspension: Standard KE70 junk, front shocks are rooted, front lowered a little bit thanks to saggy springs, 2" lowering blocks, Boge Turbo rear shocks Wheels/tyres: front - 14x7 +3 polished MA61 rims (5mm spacers), 185/60 Nankang rear - 14x7 +3 polished MA61 rims (5mm spacers), 185/60 random Exterior: 'non shine' red paint (I might polish it), straightness, rust, chrome guardtrims, towbar Interior: light blue, collapsed driver bucket seat-ish, fluffy dice, factory icy cold A/C, crap Philips tape player with stock speakers and really bad 4" in rear, tacho dash, 360mm Nardi Classic on 65mm HKB boss, ###### handbrake button Now some pics, brace yourself Got a few little things to fix but nothing major (rhs wheel-bearing, inlet leak (either manifold or carby), and a timing belt) Hopefully have some updated pics up soon Cheers, Ben.
-
I like the twins actually, didn't think they'd look good on a modern car. Cheers, Ben.
-
No worries man, met your mate with the sr20 ke70 last week. Came and picked up my granny louvre. He was telling me about this car and showed me some pics. I was pretty jealous of his Mazda 1300 wagon too lol, good bloke Cheers, Ben.
-
Looks nice Ashie, pretty clean Needs some venetians and lowering As for the centre tacho, from what I have seen they are a pretty rare option. I haven't seen a KE20 with one let alone owned a 20 with one in it..
-
Haha nah I won't have my 13x8s on the wagon, just my ma61s KE70 wagon rear guards are pretty big, 14x7 +3 (5mm spacers) is nearly an inch from flush
-
15 X 8 -9 (or Close To)
benzo replied to joeyjoejoejuniorshabadoo's topic in KExx Corolla Discussion
yeah thats my old car when it had 15x8 -9 challengers on with 195/50. Guards were only rolled, fronts were pulled out a fair bit and had to cut front guards to clear while steering due to castor. -
Where's my ride? lol
-
pretty sure I already mentioned it on ae86dc but I will be there in my wagon hopefully I can have sussy in by then (anyone have ae86 struts?)
