i did a clutch in a r32 the other day, straight onto the chest, wasnt reall heavy tho, hoists and tranny jacks are real handy :dance:

oh thats good to hear, 4agze would be different having the biggest flywheel wouldnt they, only asuming because there flywheels don't fit the t50 bellhousing, so I'm right to just run a 4ac starter i guess, any one know if a reduction type is avalible? cheers casey

hey guys, went to drop my starter motor i got in an engine package in and it turned out that it doesnt fit, on the end where the cog is its too long and wont go in to the bellhousing far enough, foules on the bellhousing pretty much, now the engine i have is a smallport 4age with a 212mm 20v flywheel, I'm not sure what the plate between the bellhousing and block, i asume 4ac? i don't want to go out and get a new starter for a 4ac or what ever if thats what i already have, so can any one help only thing i can find on the starter is the writing nippon denso thanks casey

thanks guys, i will be going hks or cusco stainless extractors, its going to cost me the same amount to make a good decent system, if not more after welding has been done, just didnt want to buy a pre made exhaust and have to bastarize it to fit, ill just wait and see if any one has done it and suceeded

hey guys, just wondering if any one could clarify if an aftermarket AE86 exhaust will fit a AE71 properly, i don't want to spend a bucket load on a off the shelf exhaust system to then need some dodgy guy mangle it to fit, i understand that it might be defferent near the cat but thats not a major problem, just the mounting points really, i have been looking at buddy club, megan and hks exhausts if any one has had any experiance, i will be going hks headers aswell thanks for all your help, casey

got one sitting on my front lawn, blew a radiator hose then a welsh plug, didnt run over temp when it blew the hose and shut it off once it did the welsh plug, will get you going atleast, come get it

there are some very nice cars been put in there, but more of them are ones that wouldnt really turn heads, who really cars if the car was in there last year? its worth being in there! the callender should be some thing we look at the cars in and think i wish my car was as good as that, i know that my cars are not worthy of a callender so I'm not going to even post a picture, i know 2 cars whitch should be in there daimons 4AGTE 20v ke70, unfortunatly its in the middle of body work, but will be a whole lot different to last year! mark? with the 13b ke55 from george town? i belive it was in there last year but only a small picture, what about little red spirits ae71? that thing was beautiful, i vote for a page of unfinished projects!

can you possibly shorten it and try that? how do you tell the fault codes? would be handy to know (new to 4age's and efi)

little bit of an update, got the old 4k and k40 out, turned out the welsh plugs where all stuffed, ohwell :P got the new tailshaft and t50 in, worked out i have an AE86 gearbox x member and took me a bit to get my head around, just waitning on my Exeady cushion button in 212mm to come in and my 20v flywheel to be machined, got some arp flywheel bolts too big thanks to Adam Prewer at repco (PREWER) on rollaclub, I'm sure he will look after the local rollaclub boys :cool:

hey guys time to start another build thread so i found what i thaught to be a ae71 spirit, turned out to be a ke70! owned buy a young girl, i asked if she was keen to sell and she was, i offered her 1000 without driving it, took it for a drive and noticed that mosdt of the car was actually f@$ked, gearbox was noisy in first, seat had colapsed, tappets where going off there nuts cd player worked some times, and was plain filthy, ended up getting it for a decent price to say the least, fixed it, cleaned it, drove it, crashed it, fixed it, drove it, then the engine decided it would stop holding its fluids (used 3 ltr of 20/50 a week!) but it shot off a coolant hose, fixed that, good as gold for a day, then water started streaming out from abouve the starter motor, time for a rebirth as it sits 84 KE70 S spirit wing 14x7 ssr formula mesh spirit grill cig locker falcon springs in rear with zuk shocks jvc hu rockford fosgate 5 1/4 splits in front and coxail in rear 2x 12" rockford fosgate P3 PUNCH subs small alpine amps gay steering wheel and monza gear knob pimpin butter fly seat covers cracked dash ------------------------------------- to go in 4AGE smallport T50 cogswappa 2.1/4 stainless exhaust with magnaflo round muffler and offset box muffler v band flanges! ebay ae86 radiator + hose kit exeady cushion button ke55 lca HSD sleaves 8kg springs on shortened ta22 struts, st185 inserts tien camber tops skids garage kustoms steering arms lock spacer cusco ncrca new bushes ect

about a month ago went out to a corner we go for for some sligs, the boys were rousing me up abit and i was trying to ignore them. come into the corner at the same pace i would in the dry, clutched it to enter, flick, o oh, understeer into a fence, managed to wash off allot of speed, well enough to only bend my bonnet, stone tray, snap the grill in 2, kind the radiator suport and put a huge v in my bumper, took it home, stripped the front end, (10pm at night,) went to a mates and got all the parts i needed in the same colour for $50! moral of the story, know your limits in both the wet and dry if your mates razz you up tell them to get f@$ked don't trust even the best of tyres

yeah it does, my 4age was never run with an 02 sensor and went fine so i have been told and have personally seen

really guys? imo any one that pay's over 1k for a ke/ae is a tard, for a stock one that is, but i can't justify a $1000 engine making the car woth "oh a bit over 4k" remember guys bigports are the worst of 4age's
