  1. thanks for that , do you know of any injectors that are pretty basic (meaning will work with megasquirt) and that size, i have access to allot of older wrecked cars so it could be worth a try, thanks

  3. i will probably be chasing 250hp but that will be on the next engine and I'm not overly sure that it wont go on my currnet engine, so 250hp 52mm from memory thanks ben theres a calculator on the megasquirt website but i wasnt sure how to use it, cheers casey, ps did some more work on it this arvo at school, got the throttle body mount flange thing cut off and it looks like it will adapt to my 3" pipe nicely, pics on monday if i remember
  4. cam timing? does it turn over buy hand fine? take the plugs out and turn it over? have you had the engine apart?
  5. ok guys, started on my manifold, ill be using a megasquirt ecu to run this so there diagrams will help me with what i need and how to go about it, head is ready to be ported, i will post up some pictures of my manifold once i have tacked it together, but its basicly going to be a cut down 2tc manifold with a 3" pipe plenum welded to it, i will be using a 3sge or 3sfe throttle body as i have one and it will mount to the plenum easy, still undecided on injectors, think ill need something around 400cc but tell me what you think, i will also be making a custom fuel rail from some aluminum, shouldnt be too much of an effort

  8. got it going with the new parts tonight, runs so f@$king smooth now its constantly fining on all cylinders. leigh came up when i got it going and he was pretty impressed. bovs real early whitch means theres boost, think i might tilt tray it out to work on Saturday and give it a good tune

  10. bolt on spacers arnt really "Smart" they are illegal for use on road and track, not saying i wouldn't run them but it will be obvious to a police man that i have big dish and flared guards why would i run a spacer 15" is a good decision other wise it will be hear the car................feel the bass..............see the car............laugh.
  11. ok small update, put my old alternator off the 4k on the motor with a custom non adjustable yet, alloy tensioner. but now i have an earthing issue or some thing and i have f@$k all power, some times when i flick the iso switch on i get a flicker of light from the cd player but not enough to make it stay on, not a huge problem because simon is coming over with his ke55 and ill coppie what was done stock and hopfully get the battery charging, today i got new leads, rotor button, distributer cap and condensor, iv also changed back to the stock coil with a very cool can cover (will have to wait and see it) so once thats done i need to get my ass into gear and finish the fuel system finish the guards, paint the guards, paint front apron repair and paint rear end and bootlid finish exhaust, dyno!
  12. haha mate thats not long, iv had mine off the road for 2 years for an engine conversion and some light body work, its close to complete now but motivation isnt high, look forward to see this cruising real soon!

  14. mine is just like that jip, but once i turn mine on a log on i wait about 5 minst the ctrl-alt-del then open new task iv had a cold/ cough on and off for 3 weeks , got it the same night with HEKTIC, upside is a 30g champion pouch lasted me 8 days threw the holidays! which is good compared to 5 school days and a weekend :lolcry:

  18. nah it was a kaysev, there was a yellow one in town last night full of bogans, big flared guards on the back, weldie and a bonnet scoop that looks like it should cover a drag cars blower

  20. just for all the ke55 people, if you intend to use AE86 PS arms you need the struts to match, just worked out that 55 and t18 arms are different
  21. nah its a daily for now, if ever i decide to put something else in it it will be a 1UZ with 8 itb's, auto and a nice exhaust

  23. ke55 front shocks, just like new, take them in the struts with new pads and low pedders springs, iv upgraded to t18 gear, will take your best offer, or if you have some hard springs to suit t18 struts, some sierra shocks, need these gone as I'm poor
