ahahahha that it does my friend that it does, iv only been involved with SAE this year, and from what i know we didnt do to well back in 05'.....skipped 06' due to lack of experience (all first years)....and we've finally got a rolling chassis for this years competation *yay* the problem with the 05 car was that the knob who designed the intake sat the injectors at the top of the plenum and due to it being turbo'd once it came on boost, the first 2 cylinders would run super lean and the last 2 ran super rich....that and the brakes didnt work lol

long story short changed plug leads, dizzy cap, points, rotor. set it ala yellow manual but I'm finding that when i give it a boot.....the vaccumm advance is really really REALLY slow in advancing the timing.....ne ideas??

that is true, but it never sold ne where near the same volume as the MKII. lol apparently the old girl could churp every gear. Never actually seen it run, was long before i was born. (i finksss I'm the reason its sitting there :D ah well......its for sale btw :)

I was thinkin to my self.....I'm about to waste (well not waste) spend shall i say......300ish on a fourage ....when i could pick up a almost NEW barra motor for around 500..... My question is....has anyone done it.....or know someone who has a similar idea?? comments more than welcome :D scotty~~
