My g/f and i found out about half an hour before it came on the news, my g/f's sister works in london as a pathologist (right next to the Big Ben), she got off the Tube 20 minutes before it all happened. She rang us to tell us that when we hear about it not to panic and she was ok. We have all told her not to stay there and just come back to aus... i think she's considering it too. 2 i've had are Follow me Not , and one day at the army barracks the security guy wrote down Flowermount, that one went up on the notice board. Snorkels won't help much, get the diff oil and wheel bearings checked, cause if the breathers aren't high enough... boom bye bye diff/gearbox!! Had that prob earlier this year. :thumbsup: I seen the pics of it all on the news, damn that's a lot of water, haven't had a decent flood up here in ages!

Up here in Townsville i'm an active committee member of our club "Pulse Motorsports". At the end of the year we will have been running for 5 years, it has taken the last 4 years to earn respect from police (they generally leave us alone when they see the club stickers on the windscreens or out as a group), as well as other local clubs (cyclones rod and custom club). :D And then a news report like this filters through about some 'wankers' in another state doin this shit, gives the public the perseption that all clubs act this way. It just pisses me off to see a group pushing the hoon laws beyond there limits and playing dumb by saying their trying to do the right thing... it's easy.... KICK THE BASTARDS OUT THAT ARE GIVING YOU A BAD NAME. :D clean up your image then then you won't be in the newspaper for the wrong reason. End Rant..... 2c.

My Rolla

When i first looked at my GP turbo i thought "geez it need's some mags, stock just looks shyte". Took it for a test drive and i was hooked, it was the first turbo'd car i'd driven and with it being toyota, i knew it was gonna last. 4 years later and around $7k spent on it, i still enjoy driving it (even though i'm also doing up the datto 1200 ute). With the suspension and 17's make it ride beautiful on the highway with many trips Nth to the tablelands/Cairns and sth to brissy been had. And nothing like sounding the BOV off in peoples windows when they pick me at the lights, they soon back off, dunno why it ain't that fast!!!

Here in townsville it's much like darwin only less humid, were still hitting 28 - 29 during the day and around 17 at night, still good rum weather BUT i want winter dammit, i want my turbo to get a big gut of cold air!!!!

My second project car (datto 1200 ute) has shat it's engine now (a12's can't handle 6000rpm!!), soon to be a 12a bridgeport with a celica 5 speed behind it. should be fun. Going the celica box cuz i've always heard good stuff about them, and i'm getting it mates rates of a mate.

Um.. there multi volt, LED's will work from 8 volt to 32 volts, and do not blow as easy (due to newer technology) as the older ones. The ones you see on trucks are garunteed for 10 years!! and if the circuit is faulty they just don't light up at all!!!
