  1. The rainbow coloured buckets look pretty good. Go for some of those in your ke70  . You could hang them from your rear view mirror?
  2. Why not use a credit card?? Sometimes it can be quicker? But by using the credit card that person is using the banks money to pay for the shopping whilst their money could be invested in other things earning interest. The interest earned from from using the credit card instead of their own money can be put towards paying off credit card when it comes time to... Free milk and bread?? Every dollar counts.... LOL.
  3. Can you notice much of a difference with the slotted rotors??
  4. Shouldn't be too much. Just go into your local tyre/suspension place and ask for a quote.
  5. How well do the different branded subs go together?? Which one do you reckon performs better?
  6. LMAO you do shit properly the first time?? Last time I looked at your thread you were painting your car with spray cans and putting a smaller motor in you car. :bash:
  7. Check your valve clearances. Advance the timing a little bit.
  8. The front seats came up really well. :)
  9. +1 for K engines.
  10. I reckon you'd be fine. Even if it did break down they're pretty simple to fix.
  11. I reckon if you gave this a really good clean up, a cut and polish, maybe paint the wheels and a few other little things like that, then put it on ebay you could get close to $1000 or even more.
  12. This may be a bit off topic but are those the original number plates it's had all its life?? Black with white numbers/letters? Also how long have you owned this car as it looks very similar to one I used to see quite a bit a few years ago and I was thinking about it just the other day wondering what had happened to it...
  13. What happened with the ke10 project?? EDIT: just read that you're getting it shipped over. Made any progress on it?
  14. I reckon it'd come up alright if you just gave it a cut and polish and painted the sections where you take out the rust.
  15. 4k carby should be fine.
  16. Good to see you got it home safely mate, I'm glad it's gone to a good home instead of being scrapped (I'm the person you bought it from).
  17. My first ever car was a ke38 wagon :y: (still got it, just very rusty). Corollas I own/have owned: ke20(sold a few weeks ago) ke25 (someone had painted this with house paint before I got it :D) ke30 (this is my favourite, pretty rusty though). ke35(sold years ago, was overrated) ke38(first car) 2 ke55's(one's a parts car, ones getting sold today) Other cars I own/have owned: n12 Pulsar (crashed into a tree) s2 rx7 (currently being restored) 1963 mini morris 850 (overrated original condition) ford escort Mitsubishi Cordia GSR au Falcon ute

    4k Q's

Have a bit of a look in the FAQ. From what I can remember there was some info on a few different cam grinds in there.
  20. So does this mean you would need a t50 or something to run a 7k?? I always thought you could just use a normal K gearbox. :lolcry:
  21. If there was something that'd make it go fast with out costing anything I'm sure you would have heard about everyone else on the forum doing it to their cars. What would the poor old man say if he heard you were going to be doing this to his corolla?? If you really wanna trash this thing why not just cut the roof off and do a really big jump.
  22. Maybe the old thermostat was one of those ones that opened at a lower temperature?
  23. I reckon it'd look alright. But yeah just don't go too big.
  24. New front springs/shocks and flip some leaves in the back. Do a search there's heaps of info around about this.
  25. If it's not frayed too badly you can just go along the edge with a lighter and it cleans it up a bit so you don't need new belts. But if they're fairly bad it's probably best to get new ones.
