  1. Pretty sweet how you got it for free. I think if you're gunna keep the black stockies, you need to either lower the car or get trim rings and center caps.
  2. Have a read of this thread. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=25991&st=15
  3. Just weld it. If you had a ke30 all you would need to do is drain the oil and take the plate of the back of the diff and you can weld it while its still in the housing. With a ke55 you will need to pull the center out to weld it (i think??? never pulled one apart). Then get a window washer setup, fill it with diesel, position a jet each side of your car so it sprays onto the back tires and do sum spinny's.
  4. So wouldn't he need an AE71/86 t50 with the shifter further back?? As this is going into a car that was previously an auto and isn't the hole further back for those?? I'd just get a k50 from a KE70.
  5. It must be one of those panthers that everyone claims to see around the Victorian country side. The car looks good. I wish my old 20 was that clean.
  6. So the ke55 cross member will be able to be used with out making any mods to it??
  7. Give it a big clean up inside and out, get rid of those hub caps, paint the wheels, give it a cut and polish etc.. and you would be suprised with how much more you could get for it.
  8. Was it this one?? http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=16608&st=60 Scroll down the page a bit.
  9. They look like S2 rx7 seats?? Car looks tough as.
  10. Lol I reckon mine lasted pretty well after all the abuse I gave it. EDIT: I just realised that we both stripped the same gear :bash:
  11. This is a pic of one of mine. Was a k50 also behind a 3k :bash:
  12. You have no time for all of these things but you still have enough time to come on Rollaclub and debate with people about how hard your life is?
  13. To get the tint off, just find a sharp blade of some sort (razor blade or a scraper or something) and scrape it off. Just be careful when you're doing the back window so you don't scratch the demister.
  14. I took the rear springs out of this corona paddock basher I had once. It gave you a head ache after about 5 minutes of driving and you couldn't sit in the back without hitting your head on the roof every 10 seconds. I can't imagine how bad it would be if there were no movement in the front.
  15. They were lucky they didn't break their wrists trying to start that T model on tonight's episode. I reckon the shows starting to get a little better.
  16. You mustn't be trying very hard if you drive around with bald tires on the front of your car in the wet. A positive attitude isn't going to fix bald tires.
  17. Don't close it man. I love your car. I'd love to see how it turns out.
  18. Farrrrrrrk. Imagine how much oil you would need for it.
  19. All AE71's have the slanted front but the later model KE70's have them as well.
  20. They try too hard to be aussie. I reckon they would have said "mate" at least 100 times.
  21. I always just lever them off with a screw driver and when I put them back on I use rubber grease.
  22. But if this were to be the case, then that means they could defect your car while it's at a workshop getting something done on it if they wanted to.
  23. I think you should leave it flat black. It looks tough as.
  24. A few of the costs have been summed up on the last page of this thread http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=29272 Do a bit more searching around the forum and you will find heaps of info on engine conversions etc..
  25. Have a look at some of these. http://www.rollaclub.com/board/?showtopic=30113
