AE70-thanks for the info0 much appreciated POZMAN-why the sc14?more air?better mounting location?btw thanks for info Trev-could you please explain the air bypass valve mod.when you say power do you mean torque, kw or both?would using the sc14 give a better postition as i plan to run it with the ITB's.thanks for the info NickZ-would using ITB's, the big port 4agze head,higher psi and a sc14 give power above 6000 rpm?thanks for info thanks for the info it has helpd thanks brett
  2. i have done searchs but found little information. mt plane is to buy a 20v and put the low compression pistons out of a 4agze in and strap on the standard 4agze supercharger.at the moment i have a ae82 4age and a 100kw lift back. id like to know if anyone else has built a supercharged 20v? will the 4agze pistons fit into a 20v? will i be able to use the 4agze gear box on the 20v?or would the 6speed box be better? what was changed on the second version of the 4agze to give it 20hp more?higher compression? thanks brett

  4. so if i look at a motor with no tvis plate and red writing does this mean it is a small port 7 rib block? all confusing. thanks brett
  5. would the different ecu give more kw? the tvis plateis anther way to tell port size. why is urs big port with red words?did some one just swap covers or its a later model?
  6. on the big port head the words "16 valve" is written in blue and on the small port head the words "twincam 16 valve" are written in red. so what is the difference between the jdm and aus small port 16 valve? thanks brett

  8. i have done a search but have not found the answers i am looking for. *is there a difference between the small port, blue and red top age4s?if so what are they? *were the small ports released in australia?if they were what would be the difference between a aus one as compaired with a jap inport? *would i find a lsd in a jap import gear box for a 4age? any help would be great thanks brett

  10. i had a look, the tvis plate is on the top of the intake manifold i have found a head with no intake mainfold, how could i find out if it's small or big port? *Numbers on head? *diameter of valves? if anyone could tell me how to find out what port it is it would be great thanks brett

  12. thanks for the info i have found out my car is a 82 not 86 i just want to check i've got evrything right the small port 4age=100kw the big port 4age=86kw the 4agze will bolt to the gear box thats in my ae82 if i change the fly wheel but if i wanted to put a black or silver top motor in i'd have to change gear box. all the motors (4age,4agze,black and silver top) will fit into my 86 model ae82 twin cam body without changing engin mounts. by the way will my extractors fit on to a 4agze or black/silver top motor? thanks brett

I'm wanting to know if *the big port 4age twin cam is the 100kw 4age motor *are the bell housing the same for the whole 4age family (supercharged,black top, silver top) thanks brett
