Would heavy duty springs for head be of help, & i will be going the twin sidedrafts with headers & 2in exhaust ,Electric fuel pump & dizzy, thermo fan with alloy. radiator. Lighten fly wheel with Hd clutch in a k50 for now. Hoping the k50 will hold up as we're not going to be punishing it. Just want it to pull firmly, look & sound nice.

Hi, I'm building a 7k with son & am trying to decide to go solid conversion or stay hydraulic. As we're stuck with the 7k head I'm trying to find accurate info on what parts have to be use & if parts are available to go solid ie lifters & correct rods & cam profile, or is it best to stay hydraulic & whats best hydro setup with cam & head to use one a moderate street engine not a race engine. Cheers for any help.
