  1. The're all coming over from Boostcrusing and are after the "Bling Factor" I'm sure if you try you could get some big 19in. chrome wheels on there.
  2. would it be a rt26 by any chance? Toyota Tiara
  3. check your rego papers as it should have the tar weight on there.
  4. When I lived in Canada we drank tequila and tabasco sauce shots (prairie fire). It burns both in and out.
  5. Just go to autobarn or similar as you can return them when they sell you the wrong size(it will happen). If you use trademe and get the wrong kit then any saving will be lost in postage. Info needed 1-Pin size 2-Size of block (how much you want to lower it) Depending on what you drive the bolt size may be different. Mine had 10mm bolts as standard and kits only come with 12mm. Cheers Chris

  10. Shop around, go to a couple of other shops. The difference in price may be for different brand extractors or different mufflers. Is this for one muffler or one muffler and a hotdog style resonator? You may be able to pick up some second hand extractors that may also drop you price. Happy shopping.
  11. try this forum. someone there has them for sale. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/board/in...1065&st=120

Have you had a chance to mount new carbys yet? how did they go?
  13. I wouldn't say Gemini diffs are crap, Mates Gemini with standard diff has recently done a number of passes in the high nines with a best of 9.542 @ 138mph. Not a bad time for a Isuzu engine either.
  14. No he's had this for a few years. I'll let him know there's some interest. May decide to sell it earlier now.
  15. Just got a photo of my mates KE26 for those interested.
  16. Found this while looking around. Good ideas to sell your car. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Datsun-DATS...sspagenameZWDVW

  18. There's a KE26 Panel Van that may be coming up for sale soon(may-June) in SE Qld. I'll keep ya posted when more info comes to hand.
  19. I had a similar problem with car I once owned. It was front wheel drive and ball joints were stuffed. the problem went away after 80km/h. just happened between 60-80. Previous owner tried to fix the problem by welding the ball joints in. You get used to it after a while just drive faster. As a backpacker you don't like wasting money on stuff like that. These days I would fix it though.
  20. At a guess i'd say they use alloy now only for the cost factor. Copper is getting very expensive. As for a preference alloy would be the way to go for me. I have a few friends who are handy with a welder.
  21. May be a silly question but have you bleed the clutch?
  22. Here's a link to youtube. It's a friends old race car. It's got a worked 5k which has since been sold. Enjoy
  23. Try a aluminum gate and fence place. you'll find that they will use 12mm and maybe thicker for base plate to bolt posts down. Ask nicely without attitude and it shouldn't cost to much.
  24. Pm me with your email address. I have a excel file to work out tire size. Still Interested in your Rt40 hubcaps. Chris
  25. Hi I need to get a Wheel alignment done and was wondering if any one can recommend a good person on the Gold Coast. I've heard some are better than others but not sure who to go to. Any help would be good. Cheers
