So I can swap the boxes but use the same cvs axles ?

Are they both c52s? Do people often use ae82 gearboxes in their ae92? Reason cos my gearbox is going and the only one I can find is an ae82 one.

Anyone done one who can post up some info? How did you go about wiring and where did you mount it

I'm 80% sure it's a headgasket but planning on driving it til it carcs it then sending it to wreckers. Does anyone happen to know where I can get thermostat housing bolts? I don't want to put threaded ones back in

I put one back in, was this a bad idea? I havent driven it yet..

I pulled off the thermostat housing and it wasn't there, is there another part I have to pull off, it was getting dark when I was doing it so I couldn't tell properly

Hey all I'm new to this site and rollas in general, I've just begun driving my brother's old ae90 and wanted to know what engine it is. Did a quick search on google and it says the ae90s variant is an SE which would mean it is a 6A-FE 1.4cc. Found it weird how the car has a 1.6L badge on it. Don't think anyone would have put the badge on it. If I was to do a swap further down the track what engine would be the most compatible for it? Thanks!
