Hi, currently doing abit of research for my 4agze conversion into my ae71 and can't find anything on this particular subject Now, i know the 4agze flywheel is too big and wont fit into the t50 bellhousing, but what about the clutch? Can i use the ae101 4agze clutch with a 212mm flywheel? Any info would be awesome Cheers

it had plugs while sitting, stuff just fell in from around them when i took them out i think ill take the head off anyway to clean everything, will i need a new head gasket? anything to watch out for?

i think it was sitting outside with the hood up for while lol is there anyway to tell if it was blown out the exhaust? would the compression test create enough wind speed to push it out?

Hi, i was doing a compression test on a 4agze i am going to buy and some erosion and dirt fell through the spark plug hole and landed onto the top of the piston. I completed the compression test and the errosion/dirt had moved and i could not see it would this have damaged the engine? i plan to clear it, but would there already be damage? thank you for any info :)

thanks guys installed a start button and now works:)

My connections in my key barrel broken for the ignition, the accessories part still works though So I'm planing on installing a start button to fix this Which wires will need to be shorted(connected to the button) Thank you

thanks for your reply the starter motor does not turn over, like its not getting power i did notice the barrel was getting stiffer/harder to turn, then the other day when it wouldn't start, the barrel felt really loose and was moving really freely. it feels like something just snapped in the barrel i tried jump starting it to check if it was the battery but still nothing Tthank you

My ke70 recently wont start, i think the ignition barrel is broken and i want to test it. i figured shorting the wires that the barrel would connect would be able to test it just not sure which wires any info would be great THANKS

turns out that the cable connection to the switch was broken, so it was stuck on vent kinda looks like someone cut it, which i thought was weird pushed the cable in and now its stuck on defog, which is fine as i need it to get over the pits

took my ke70 over the pits today and found out the demister dosnt work, its not blowing any air any suggestion why?? any help will be much appreciated :)

^ yeah that would have been good but already bought the correct globe it wasnt the 41mm or 36mm(not 37) it was actually the 31mm :)

i havent had a chance to have a good look at it yet, but i think it might be the retune line as its only when the engine turns off and the fuel has no where to go, maybe making it seep out the weakest point, the hose-line clamp? thank you all for your input

after the engine has been stopped for a little while it leaks abit of fuel. seems to stop after a while. seems to be coming from the fuel line with the fuel filter. might be coming from the hose to fuel line connection, do i just need to tighten the clamp? what would cause this?? Thank you :)

went to repco and asked if they can look it up and they couldnt find anything, so had to go by sight and couldnt decide between 41mm and 37mm, so got both, can bring back the wrong one for refund, had to rush of to work so will try tomorrow and report back with the answer :)

I bought a ke70 and it didnt have a globe in the interior light. if the globe was just broken i could take it in to repco and get a replacement but no luck. what is the name/specs of the globe so i can go buy one? :) Thank you

tried it with the wires connected to the reverse switch with the car on....... nothing :( shorted/measure the two wires and got nothing, dash lights & gauges are working so i don't think its a fuse. will chase the wires either tonight if i have time or tomorrow cheers

thank you both for replying this has given me some great insight :) i think the problem is that ive only tried it on "accessories" and not in "on" or "run" haha so much frustration over something simple, i will test tomorrow :) if that dosnt work then ill do what banjo said thanks again i would be so screwed without you guys

hi, bought a ke70 that I'm now trying to get regoed, fixed most things but run out of ideas to fix the reverse lights checked globes, connections to the globes, and connection to the 2 red and blue wires to the reverse switch on the gearbox i have tested the reverse switch and am getting no signal(no volts or amps) so not sure what to do next? do i need a new switch? please help weird thing..... when i initially checked if the 2 red and blue wires where connected to the reverse switch i found they where connected to/around a bolt above and left(towards the engine) of the reverse switch. any insight or suggestions will be greatly appreciated :)

yeah it was jammed in backwards, changed it around and it works :) thanks everyone for the help!! i have one last enquiry, the interior light, i doesnt work and i can't see any screws to get the cover off, is there a special way to get it off? cheers

thanks Banjo for the great info, the rear park lights do work, i pulled out the park lights in the front and tested if they were getting a signal from the loom and they were, picked up some new front park lights today, fitted them and they work, still not sure why the other ones didnt, they look intact i am very interested in the dual fitment bulb you are talking about in the tail light. when i turn the lights on the right is brighter than the left, when i press on the brake the left becomes as bright as the right, but the right does not change, i guess theres something wrong the the dual filament?? any help on this would be much appreciated cheers

sorry for the noob question but where are the park lights at the rear?? are they the small clear ones??
