smeg yeh! hell not keen for my bonnet to blow out like that ay! that would really f*ck it, also :) at the commentry "and we can tell you what that was people, thats called a flywheel explosion" hahaha so i thought i was getting a cam but.. i went down to my local parts shop yesterday, and asked them to see if they could get me a lumpy cam and a lightned flywheel for my wagon, and i went in today to see what they had found out and they said they can't get any flywheels or cams for my type of car.... i was off it, so whats the go??? where can i get a lumpy cam?? surely you can get them made for any car i would of thought...? or do i have to get mine machined? and same with the flywheel, i was pretty keen to fork out the cash for a custom lightned one but apparently thats a no go aswell...! somewere in adelaide must do them..hmmm? cheers, haydn

hey guys, ye I'm keen on getting it done, make it sound it bit tougher and hopefully contribute to some more power along with the weber, extractors, cam, ect. ye taking it out yourself an bringing it to them would be the best an cheapest way, i would have done this but because I'm a frickin stupid idiot :hmm: i just put my new engine in and wired it all up ready to go and then i decided i wanted to lighten the flywheel....! so I'm not really keen to do it all again atm if ya no what i mean. hahah, oooowel! so this is why i was interested in how much it would cost to get it pulled out an put in... so if its gunna cost me between 200 to 500 to get it done then i guess ill just do it myself, also whats the advantages of a custom lightned alloy flywheel compared to just getting it machined??? besides the price ofcoarse.. :) cheers, haydo

just fu**in love um ay! probably when i was about 12, 13 and i saw this minta white ke20 slammed with white walls, vanetian, original as, with those front mudflaps, buzzin past, and i had no idea what it was but i new it just looked sooo mega cool and i new that i wanted one from then on! i like the olskool mazzys for sure, but the old rollas just give me goosbumps! i get the biggest boner when i see some random minta cruze past me, i gotta say i see more old mazdas than i do old corolla's! i mean i see millions of ke70's and ke55's but ya see shit all good condition ke1X, ke2X, and ke3X love the way they drive, love it how small they are! love the sleek look, the nice rounded backs on the coupes OHHHHHHH! hey all, just wondering, when ya get ya flywheel machined ( lightned ) do they take your whole engine out to do the job or can they just take the tailshaft out and take out the gear box and get to it that way...? and iv heard its about $80 to lighten but does that include taking it out an putting it in??? :P cheers, haydn

hey mate nice ride ay, just wondering what these lil beast go for $$$$ ??? as my mate picked one up not that long ago for 400 buks, runs fine, in pretty good condition, its white with minor rust and original red interior! looks the smeg! cheers, haydn.

all sanded back to pretty much bare metal, did it all in about 3 ta 4 hours, i was pretty impressed with myself haha, ordered the paint today, comes in tomoro ;) gettin sprayed in about 3 weeks, and engine will go in as soon as it arrives on my door step, which should be either friday or early next week ;) can't wait! haydn.

cheers guys, ye i like the white to, the greens pretty cool but not keen for it to stand out that much, especially to the cops. I'm also planning to get the windows tinted pretty dark, retrim the carpet, install my stereo, sub, ect. and a few other things. will, ill be putting the wags up for sale but I'm not really bothered if it sells or not, ill prob only sell if i get an alrite offer other wise ill just drive it over to queensland. cheers, haydn

hey mate, lowered my wagon tanite, i just flipped one of the smallest of the two middle leafs, and left the large towing leaf where it is, it brought it down about 5cm, and its pretty level with the front so it looks good, not slammed just good :lolcry: ill post some pics soon. cheers, haydo

hey mate i sent you a pm about the flipping the towing leaf, david, i am lowering my ke38 wags, the leafs would be pretty simular to the ke70 i reckon, i usually flip leafs and/or flip and add, i just got my wags already tanite to lower it tomoro night, I'm thinking of taking the big fat towing leaf and flipping it and putting it on top, but I'm unsure of how much it will lower it by only flipping that one.... as I'm looking at getting it down so the wheels are close to level with the wheel arch, and also because the towing leaf is so fat and stiff it may be really bouncy and we don't want to bounce all over the road and into a tree, soooo I'm thinking of leaving the towing leaf where it is and just flipping the middle two or one... i guess ill let you no what i do and how it works out tomoro night, cheers, haydo

will, i just ment wheres the (rol420) number plates at ??? and ye i prefer flipping leafs over blocks well reseting them, and i think what you said is true that the blocks fark up your leafs after a while, i think it takes agggges tho ay, cheers, haydo.
