longer studs and catch can are done which will be needed for andra in the next few months, also have tail shaft loop and harness to go in when i get around to it. had a mate make me a stainless exhaust so it wont rust from e85, also rebuilt the rear brakes so the handbrake now works a little better which should help with the drags, as i use the handbrake and foot brake to launch

have changed a few things on the car ready for when i have to get it ANDRA tech inspected first was to make a catch can seeing as the car has never had one, goes straight from tappet cover to catch can and catch can back to intake as the car needs to be legal. also have bought a tail shaft loop but been to lazy to fit it will get to it one day

new manifold and dump pipe is pretty much done. thanks to jamie for his quality work on the dump pipe and kyle for the manifold

went for a little drive this morning to test gearbox out and is a big improvement, i knew the old gearbox was slipping but didnt realise how much, is heaps stronger on the road now and will see what difference it makes on the dyno soon. new manifold is on just need dump pipe made and were back in action

will sit in pretty much the same spot but will probably make a new dump pipe while I'm at it

yes they are as good as it gets, hopefully get a chance to fit it tomorrow as its a show holiday up here. can't wait to get it back on the dyno and e85 it was crazy with 23psi so its going to be fun with 30psi

its a 6boost manifold, they just heat paint them

gearbox is in and feels really good, decided that we are going to change manifold before it gets tuned as i currently have a open entry manifold with a split pulse housing so we are changing to a split pulse manifold and should pick up a couple of extra hp and little less lag.

yeh will worry about that after i get booted again

yes have 7 at the moment, valiant, 3 corollas, hilux, cressida, cortina

drivers seat is ripped and is worn pretty thin in the back seats so I'm on the look out for some good second hand ones the same or will get them retrimmed, the rest of the interior is spotless but. so new seats and a respray and will be overrated

wagon is in fairly good condition, will drive it for a couple of years then maybe a respray and general tidy up

yeh someone had to buy the ke18 and i really needed another car, after all whats another rego i now have 5 toyotas so I'm a little greedy i suppose

thought i would put some pics of my current corollas up, oldest is ke18 1970 model with 4k and 5 speed and disc brake front which i just bought this week second is a ke55 i bought a couple of years ago has genuine 115000kms, needs paint and seats retrimmed but otherwise is a really good rust free body so will get around to working on it one day and make it into something different and last one is the wifes new daily so i can make the cressida faster, its a brand spanker zre152 sedan with low king springs and a set of 18's rest will stay stock

will have to get around to putting my starter motor in so i can drive this again, i miss boost. have bought two new corollas this week but first one was brand new zre152 and second was a ke18 wagon, so now have the very first shape corolla and the current shape corolla, and one inbetween ke55

good news is that bought the wife a brand new zre152 corolla, so now don't have to worry about it being the relaible daily driver. gearbox is also done and back in havent driven it yet though as my starter motor is dead, so will get another one tomorrow and see what it drives like. ended up getting 2 more clutches in every gear so hopefully it holds together. the only thing worn in my box was the direct clutches which had just started to slip rest of the box looked like new still so thats a good sign

as long as I'm paying for it she doesnt care

haha the 2jz i had nearly ended up in it, but trying to keep ute standard so i can afford my other 4 cars

yeh at this stage it will get a 4 point cage, she wont mind. will run it again first and then see if i want to go all out on the whole andra licence and suit
