sorry don't have any pictures of the white walls still. put car on dyno today and with standard turbo running 11psi it made 178.6rwhp, which is alot considering it has standard dump pipe, computer, 2.5 exhaust and small intercooler. not sure if I'm going to get a chance this week to do turbo or not but will see how i go.

have decided to do a turbo upgrade as i bought a cheap sr20 turbo and 3 inch dump pipe, and it will still be fine with standard computer. it will be getting dynoed tomorrow with standard turbo and then again towards the end of the week when i have the sr turbo on. i will post pics of dyno sheets to see what kind of power increase i get, I'm hoping for around 190rwhp with the sr turbo.

ive got a ke30 with ca18det at the moment has standard computer, standard turbo and dump pipe, has 2.5 inch exhaust and small intercooler. I bought a 180sx type x turbo off a sr20 (slightly bigger than a silvia sr20 turbo) which I'm going to fit to it as well as a 3 inch dump pipe, wondering if anyone has done the sr20 turbo onto ca and what kind of results they achieved. i will be doing it in a couple of weeks and dynoing it before and after but at the moment id say its making around 165rwhp and hoping for around 190rwhp when done. is that a resonable target?

you have plenty of power now all you need is the auto to make good use of it

thats a good effort, on that 12.2 run the tires definately looked to be on the limit, i think i might be heading out next saturday to have a run on some half decent tires if your kehn to head back.

fastest car i have been in is my old te cortina with 1jz made plenty of power and beat a few street bikes from rolling starts. had lag issues off the line but u could hit it at well past 100kmh and would break out no problems

slight change of plans for this car as i couldnt find any good pink colours i have decided to paint it ford light blue, also i have decided that is needs a turbo because i need 3 turbo cars 2 just arnt enough anymore. I'm going to keep all the factory brakes, gearbox, diff and motor and just going to do a basic blow through std carby with bigger secondary jets. it has to be an easy bolt off if i ever want to return it to std so there will be no holes cut for intercoolers and so on. an mate of mine has a ke20 with ca18 turbo on 4k, std carby and it makes 115rwhp, allthough I'm not doing this to be superfast just so it has enough to be nice to drive so i will probably aim for about 90rwhp plenty. the turbo is off a ford courier i was told

just an update havent played with it much lately, but have been back to run 13.8 at 101mph, I'm saving for a dump pipe as std one wont let me run anymore than 10psi over about 5000rpm to restrictive so once that is on will venture back with tires wider than 185 and hopefully 14psi to run closer to 13.0, thats about where it will end as i want to keep std computer and std turbo as this is my daily driver and reliability is needed.

any plans to go back to the drags soon, and have u had it tuned any dyno figures?. just curious as my car is only std computer, std turbo, 10psi due to std dump pipe, small cooler and small exhaust, so i doubt it even makes 160 rwhp. I'm going to buy a dump pipe so i can run 14psi and go back. ive already run 13.8 at 101mph on 185's with wheel spin all the way through 2nd gear, so I'm hoping with some decent tires and 14psi i can go closer to a 13.0. do you have heaps of trouble with wheelspin?

i like it alot nearly a twin of my one, i saw it for sale not that long ago and was so tempted to buy another. I'm taking mine to drags this weekend if its not raining hoping to run closer to the 13.5 mark with std turbo and computer. yours should see some easy 12's with the mods you have, maybe you should make another trip this weekend to better the time.

ke30 ca18det, i ran 14.127 at 100 mph with a 2.3 sec 60 foot(only raced on 185 14's and 9 psi boost). might be racing again this weekend hoping for about a 13.6 on 14psi. might even run my slicks instead of cheese cutters.

i worked out why u guys shortened struts, i finally had a look at my car while it was on the ground and not on the jack, mine still has just enough shock travel but if i wanted to go lower it more would definately need to shorten shock.

ive done xt130 struts they bolt in just need to modify spring and use corolla strut tops. don't know what u other guys mean by shortening strut mine are perfect length. i cut 2 coils off corona springs and car sits real low

sorry couldnt bring myself to put a v6 commodore motor in it just not right, good conversion just not my thing. some more picsspent last 2 days degreasing and painting I'm going to keep it all original as i already have 2 turbo toys need one slow car

yeh 360 mopar would be good but think I'm going to keep it std there arnt many std ones getting around anymore. that is my g/f vg 2 door in back ground finished it about 3 months ago
