  7. CLEAN minty fresh even!!! ZING!!!!1111ElEvEnBbQ!!! awesome, superbly clean, could eat yo dinner off that!
  8. casey in all fareness, you do have all the right tools(including your dad :) ), and plenty of space to do whatever you please to your car! but like casey has said, its not all that hard, just need some time, money, and patience and it can all be done yourself! for less money than what it will cost you to get it done by a shop! edit: shit almost forgot! try pedders for springs? or even some custom kings jobbies, then for the rear either flip 1 or two leaves over onto the top of the pack, as is illustrated in geoff (rolla_boy)'s thread! btw, if you wanna do sick skids, and still own a corolla, buy a ke70, its what I'm thinking about doing!
  9. firstly i'd like to say well done! it looks to be a nice car so far! if i was you this is what i would do next: -a wash/cut n polish -i'd go lower, but i don't really know what your into (grip, drags, ripping some e-brake, or of course posing/cruising) and whether or not getting up steep driveways is a priority or not! -new wheels -then possibly some "racing" seats for the front that give abit more support for those "spirited" moments
  10. what has josho ordered from autobarn? haha
  11. don't hate them, they don't look so bad, but chromies/chrome in general is just not my thing! ahh i was gonna say! i know down here you can only go +2" over standard size or else its defect-able (without an engineers) but having that fixes everything! edit: i might not "love" the wheels, but i definitely love this car!
  12. looks good mate! well done! haha did you put it over the pits with 17's?
  13. sam (his lil bro) described it as a trophy for "drifting a car thats not very well suited to drifting"
  14. huh =S i knew he won a trophie, but how do you "win" a practice day? (not trying to be a cock btw, just cunfused)
  15. $295 just buy them off tasplates kfc
  16. spotted: red ke30 with a sus engine making a fare effort at the drift day today white ke70 owning, god damn u can steer josho! ed - i lol'd @ "I'm a c**t" on another note, hazkell is a funny bugger, with mad skills, and i want his car!
  17. update time then!
  18. sounds like a plan mate! i really can't wait to see it wen its finished, like whats already been said, it will prove to all the haters that you can build a tuff car on budget! edit: and yeah LOL at the toyota sign! tis about as straight as a twisty!
  19. those quads really set it off! can't wait to see buffed! whats next?
  20. t-3 86 coilover struts $1,050au (from Kyouteki shipped to your door) coilover info: http://www.technotoytuning.com/productdetail.php?p=658 with the willwood big brake kit (4spots) $1060 (from Kyouteki shipped to your door) brake info: http://www.technotoytuning.com/productdetail.php?p=329 with that setup i can't see you having any problems with handling or stopping! chuck in some sway bars (Whiteline), better rear shocks (kyb, 2nd hand trd's Kyouteki can help you with this also) and leafs (reset or something) and some camber tops in the front for good measure (not sure if 86 fit without slotting, but s13 camber tops will fit if you slot each hole about 1mm according to nickZ) with all of that your 55 will be one of the nicest handling in Tassie, if not Australia!
  21. are you still planning on spraying the engine bay before you put it in?
  22. have u ever thought of just respraying it beige? i reckon its an awesome colour and will look much more period! beige, bolt on flares, 15x8 superlites, lowered, your planned interior that sounds to be a good idea! (in my opinion) and you'd have an AWESOME cruiser! which you could build on everything else(engine, suspension, drivetrain) as you go!
  23. f@$king hell! get those pictures ASAP and some specs too!
  24. and taste like grape juice
  25. casey didn't you wanna go to this? since we know where he lives =P
